WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK landed a winning NAP on Tuesday with The Tooth Fairy WON 4/5 at Galway. A Naas NAP today.
The Tooth Fairy finally delivered last night at Galway with a very comfortable win in the concluding fillies maiden at Galway, winning by four and a half lengths at 4/5.
The Irish action comes from Naas on Wednesday with a busy eight race card starting at 2.50pm on expected good ground.
Quick Quick can hopefully run up to his name by winning the concluding nursery handicap at 6.30pm.
The Noel Meade trained grey has improved on both starts since finishing way down the field on debut at The Curragh. He was only pipped two short heads when third at Listowel last time out and similar improvement should see him go close on his handicap debut off a starting mark of 74.
He is up against some mainly exposed types of which the handicapper should have them all where he wants them.
The exception being Enchanted One who could be the dark horse of the race, having his first handicap start and first run since being gelded. He hasn’t shown much so far but you get the feeling he is capable of better.
