Gowran Park passed their morning inspection but it will be very testing.
The ground is heavy and the stalls will not be in use for the 1m4f race (4.45).
With a NAPS sequence to try and preserve the obvious call looks to be the Aidan O’Brien trained Arthur’s Kingdom in the opener at 1.35pm.
He should relish the more testing ground and can makes amends for a costly defeat at Killarney last time out where he was headed on the line and beaten a nose having started at 2/9.
It’s the best form on offer here and it’s a tough level for the well backed debutant Ebony Maw to hit in testing conditions. The in form Ger Lyons trains this one who has been hammered in the morning market.
