EUROPA LEAGUE THURSDAY: We preview Thursday’s Europa League games between LAZIO V CELTIC, RANGERS V FC PORTO, WOLVES V SK SLOVAN BRATISLAVA and MANCHESTER UNITED V PARTIZAN BELGRADE with recommended BETDAQ bets.
LAZIO V CELTIC
5.55pm We have another fascinating night ahead in the Europa League and we kick off with Celtic away to Lazio. After beating Lazio 2-1 in the home fixture, Celtic find themselves top of Group E and in a fantastic position to qualify. It’s still an open looking Group however, and a loss here would put them under pressure very quickly.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Lazio 1.68, Celtic 6.0 and the draw is 4.1. It’s well known that Celtic aren’t as good away from home in Europe compared to at home and Lazio have a fantastic chance to get three points here. They look a little short at 1.68 from a betting point of view however and we can see a much closer game than odds of 1.68 suggest. Lazio have conceded in their last nine home Europa League ties and they’ve failed to keep a clean sheet in 14 games in this competition too. We believe Celtic can get a result here and we’re happy to lay the hosts at 1.68.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Lazio at 1.68.

RANGERS V FC PORTO
8pm Everything is to play for in Group G, and this is a huge game. Young Boys sit top of the Group with six points, then you have Rangers and Porto on four points, followed by Feyenoord on three. Both Rangers and Porto could top the Group, while equally come last. A win tonight would be massive for either side, and Rangers will be delighted to have home advantage for such a big tie.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Rangers 2.82, FC Porto 2.7 and the draw is 3.55. Rangers managed to claim a massive draw two weeks ago away to Porto, and they’ve gone on to win three from three in all competitions since then – admittedly against weaker Scottish opposition. We can’t have Porto shorter than Rangers here though, especially with Rangers having home advantage and we’re happy to lay Porto at 2.7. They haven’t impressive in Group G and Rangers can get a result here.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay FC Porto at 2.7.

WOLVES V SK SLOVAN BRATISLAVA
8pm You have to say that when the draw came out, Wolves got a pretty easy Group. However after a slow start to their season and a loss here against Braga – they find themselves needing to win this fixture. It’s by no means a must win game, but they are a point behind the Group leaders and only two ahead of Slovan so a loss would really put them on a back foot. They already managed to beat Slovan with a 2-1 win away from home two weeks ago, and really and truly they should win this fixture.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Wolves 1.41, SK Slovan Bratislava 11.5 and the draw is 4.8. Slovan have lost three from three when coming to England, and they’ve actually won just one of their last 15 Europa League Group Stage games. That victory actually came this season, against Besiktas who sit bottom of Group K with no points. Wolves managed to get a draw against Arsenal at the weekend and they’ve really found form domestically. They should easily outclass Slovan and at 1.41 they are worth backing. They look like a banker for BETDAQ Multiples.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Wolves to beat SK Slovan Bratislava at 1.41.

MANCHESTER UNITED V PARTIZAN BELGRADE
8pm Manchester United are never far away from a loss these days, as we seen at the weekend away to Bournemouth. Prior to that they had managed to put three wins together and draw with Premier League leaders Liverpool; however the problems remain. One of those wins came away from home against tonight’s opponents but let’s be honest – you can’t back United with too much confidence in any game these days.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Manchester United 1.44, Partizan Belgrade 11.5 and the draw is 4.4. Ultimately United should get the job done here, but they look too short to back at 1.44. They have a list of injury worries and they just haven’t created enough chances in Europe this season. They’ve actually managed just one shot on target in their last two Europa League games. We can’t see United scoring too many here and we like under 2.5 goals at 1.75. We expect another dull affair at Old Trafford.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 1.75.
