13 PHILIP HOBBS Zanza Philip Hobbs team, currently registering a 24% strike rate, has made a huge effort with Zanza, and he’s come good at the right time, scoring at Newbury 10 days ago without damaging his handicap mark. Sunday’s Greatwood Hurdle will reveal whether he can now hold his form and land a big one.

3.00 Hereford Ballyhill is a once-a-year winner but has raced just the once at Hereford and won. That was in the same month as an unplaced reappearance run.
Ballyhill’s return last month was within three days of that previous auspicious start. His Nigel Twiston-Davies stable is in top form (24% strike rate) and son Sam goes to Hereford for this solo runner.
Steady at 5.8 this morning behind No Comment, who has failed to score since his novice days nearly three years ago, with nearly-horse returns of 223000 in classy races at Aintree, Cheltenham and Punchestown.
Fifth in the Kim Muir, he ought to be closely involved in this race of much lower class, and 4.8 BETDAQ offers allow us to back two in the race.
3.20 Lingfield On three occasions at this time of year, Miss Yeats has started her season at Lingfield after 201, 211 and 250 days’ break. The results have been: 3rd 50-1, 3rd 7-2 and won 15-8.
Here she is 187 days after her last start, well backed when books opened last night, and seemingly with only the penalised Tanrudy to beat.
