FRIDAY NIGHT NAP AT DUNDALK: SHAMROCK landed his NAP yesterday with Benie Des Dieux and bids to follow up in the 8.00 at Dundalk tonight.
Yesterday’s NAP Benie Des Dieux (EVENS) couldn’t have been more impressive when winning the Galmoy Hurdle at Gowran Park yesterday and I stand by what I said yesterday …. we STILL don’t know how good she is !!
Tommy Taylor might be worth taking on as favourite in the finale at Dundalk on Friday at 8.00pm.
The Donagh O’Connor ridden runner has been very consistent but a 5lb rise in the weights looks harsh for his recent second over the six furlong course here.
Outside Inside is also up in the weights but in her case a 7lb hike looks warranted given she was a course and distance winner last time out who seemed to score with plenty in hand. Colin Keane is in the saddle again.
San Andreas looks to be running into form and the Joseph O’Brien trained runner doesn’t have to find much to turn the form around with Tommy Taylor when the pair were third and second respectively over course and distance in December.
