BUMPER NAP: SHAMROCK saves his best bet on Sunday for the concluding bumper at Limerick.
Couple of short priced favourites on Sunday’s Limerick card including Salsaretta in the feature Grade 2 Charleville Cheese Irish EBF Mares Novice Chase for Willie Mullins and Paul Townend.
She made all to land the odds at 1/5 at Thurles last time out and is hard to oppose as she steps up in class.
For the nap though I prefer the chances of Stattler (also Mullins) in the concluding bumper in what looks a match with On Eagles Wings.
Stattler looks the one likely to be more progressive on just his third start. Although only third of five behind Farouk D’alene at Naas last time out it came in a red hot bumper and this looks a lot easier.
On Eagles Wings was second to last week’s Cheltenham’s Champion Bumper winner Ferny Hollow so if the form could be taken literally would obviously be a massive threat but his form prior to that was more modest.
