GOWRAN PARK NAP: Today’s SHAMROCK NAP runs in the 4.00 at Gowran, trained by BETDAQ brand ambassador Gavin Cromwell.
A disappointing effort from San Andreas who only beat one home in the Listed Heritage Stakes at Navan yesterday.
The action switches to Gowran Park on Thursday and for the NAP I’m keen on Point Reyes who is trained by BETDAQ brand ambassador Gavin Cromwell.
The three-year-old filly belied her odds of 20/1 to finish second to Aerclub at Dundalk last time out and whilst the winner pulled nicely clear, Point Reyes put some decent distance between herself and her other rivals.
Over the same one mile trip she should prove hard to beat and the danger has to be Bella Brazil given the good form of Jessica Harrington (5 winners from last 22).
Bella Brazil was disappointing last time out but should be suited better by the sounder surface.
