TIME TO BLOSSOM: SHAMROCK’S Thursday NAP runs in the fillies maiden at Leopardstown at 6.45pm.
Gin Blossom should come good at the fourth attempt in the one mile fillies maiden at Leopardstown tonight.
The Joseph O’Brien trained runner is up in trip, has cheekpieces on for the first time and on better ground. These three factors combined can hopefully make up for the last two starts where she has been a beaten favourite at 4/7 and 13/8.
Certainly she was staying on strongly over 7 1/2 furlongs at Tipperary last time out when fifth to Sunday Sweet. It’s possible that she needed that run after a break and should come on plenty for the effort. Koola Buala finished in front of her then but there is every chance that form will be reversed.
Soineanta has some decent placed efforts but is now 0/9 and looking exposed. She has been beaten in weaker contests than this.
