11/10 WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK landed a winning NAP on Thursday thanks to Gin Blossom (NAP, WON 11/10) at Leopardstown.
Gin Blossom ran out a comfortable four length winner at Leopardstown last time out to lose her maiden tag and land the SHAMROCK NAP in the process.
Flat and jumps racing in Ireland on Friday from Limerick and Kilbeggan respectively.
On the Limerick card Call Me Rocky (3.00pm) might be worth taking on – currently 1.86 on BETDAQ. Although third at Roscommon last time out, he was beaten by 12 3/4 lengths and whilst he may well improve for the better ground he looks too short in the market.
There are two very credible rivals. The Jessica Harrington trained debutant Big White Chief is currently solid enough in the market suggesting a good first run could be on the cards but with the advantage of experience I prefer the chance of the Dermot Weld trained Thaleeq.
His form has only been modest so far in runs at Naas and Bellewstown (more promise) but this longer trip should suit him and the stable remain in good form.
