NOW 50 POINTS PROFIT FROM DAQMAN FOUR-DAY ROMP: Daqman landed two winners from three picks yesterday, and his second nap in three days, as he took his daily-bets profit near 50 points (to 49.45) since Sunday through his staking plans, explained on Tuesday (Make A Point Of Getting Value) and Wednesday (Looking For A Bad Favourite).

DAQMAN BOOSTS THE VALUE IN THE LAST AT HAMILTON: Daqman returns to the value theme today, with a bet in the last at Hamilton, which he considers a 6.0 shot but he can get 9.0 on BETDAQ. He keeps the four-point stake required to win 20 at 6.0 and so boosts the potential return to 32 with four points win at 9.0.
‘COP’ ANOTHER RYAN TWO-YEAR-OLD
Weather to bet or not to bet. Punters face the prospect of thunderstorms on to a firm surface today at Bath and Salisbury, while Hamilton is already soft, good to soft; the Irish meeting at Leopardstown, probably good after watering.

⭕ 1.35 Hamilton Kevin Ryan is showing a massive profit of 74.71 to single-point level stakes on 11 winners from 48 two-year-old turf runners this year.
He’s two short of 100 juvenile winners in the last five years, incredibly also in profit despite 596 runners being needed to get that century.
Ryan has a 75% strike rate in two-year-old handicaps at Hamilton, and Dutch Art gelding Two Cop Bop (BETDAQ 3.05) is out of a Zebedee mare and has already raced twice at Hamilton with cut in the ground. All positive, except that he missed the break both times.
Maybe we need to wait for blinkers but he’s probably been through the stalls a dozen times at home, and the opposition today isn’t much cop!
Shawshank seeks unlikely redemption after being beaten 18 lengths in his first handicap. So, too, Harswell Prince and Katty D.
Full Of Sass’s second on the last day looked like improvement but the handicapper turned round and dropped him a pound for it!
Mark Johnston’s Better By Far has been second twice, including here on soft, but Two Cop Bop was stronger by far in the morning market.
A ROYAL ONE-TWO FOR THE AWARD
⭕ 2.20 Salisbury This fillies’ Listed looked hot on paper, with seemingly several strong bids for some black type. But Kirstenbosch and Shimmering went out into no-man’s land to 33.0 and more this morning.
James Fanshawe’s Kirstenbosch had back-to-back AW success last May and June before being beaten in this race, with excuses, including a lost shoe.
Winner was the smart Fanny Logan, trained by John Gosden, who also won in 2015, and Shimmering goes for the stable today after the 1,000 Guineas and in a Group 3 at Ascot late last month (led a furlong out). But they couldn’t give her away this morning.
Queen Power is another dropping down from the pattern: third at Royal Ascot, then fourth in the Nassau Stakes behind Fancy Blue at Glorious Goodwood.
Her trainer, Sir Michael Stoute, is in terrific form, with 14431012112 in five days, but she has lacked a vital turn of foot in all her races since winning at Newbury in a slow time last Spring.
Award Scheme has shot up 19lb in the ratings for handicap success here at Salisbury and at York, which suggests a filly going places. I took Award Scheme for a royal victory at BETDAQ 4.7, with a saver on Queen Power.
IT’S LAST CHANCE DORNOCH AT 10.0
⭕ 3.00 Leopardstown (Desmond Stakes) Some quality horses have won this, including Madhmoon last year after second in the English Derby and fourth in the Curragh version.
Probably Fiscal Rules comes nearest to being Classic calibre today, fifth in both the Irish Guineas and Irish Derby.
Ancient Spirit, five now, seems stuck at Listed level and, despite a couple of successes, his rating hasn’t really moved for a year or so.
He gave 3lb and a beating to Bowerman at the Curragh in June (holds Nebo) but had the run of the race that day.
Royal Dornoch, who beat Kameko in the Royal Lodge Stakes, has been down the field in the Guineas and at Ascot this year. It’s last-chance saloon at 10.0 (3.75 the place, but only two places)
Trais Fluors won at short odds last Spring for Andre Fabre but became a nearly horse with subsequent form of 32233 (12 times favourite in France) before a move to Kevin Condon who coaxed him into a place again in another Listed at Navan in June.
MOORE STAYS ON FOR SOLO MOUNT
⭕ 3.20 Salisbury Ryan Moore goes for a five-timer on just the one ride today: Overpriced Mixer. Ryan’s current form figures are 12231111, after a hat-trick yesterday.
In fact, I can’t see another booking for Moore in England before the big weekend meeting at Deauville, when I expect to see him on Circus Maximus against Kameko in the Prix Jacques le Marois (Sunday).
Overpriced Mixer’s on a hat-trick today (current figures 2211). In his move from Jamie Osborne to Nicky Henderson he lost something on the way.
A quick snip means he’s no longer the colt who almost threw the race when swerving at Kempton last October. His being gelded will also help him in his intended career: hurdling.
He became 3.0 morning favourite after an overnight tussle in the market, Without A Fight easing slightly.
There’s more to come from Without A Fight but Mixer may be Overpriced at the start of his Henderson career.
JOHNSON’S LAST-RACE RAZZMATAZZ
⭕ 3.40 Hamilton Mark Johnston could have found a winning chance for Iffraaz (BETDAQ 9.0), who plummets to a class-4 handicap.
Iffraaz, who has won on the soft, ran in the Gimcrack and the Dewhurst (behind Pinatubo) as a juvenile and, gelded over the winter, has been class-2 handicapping this term.
Led for a long way at Goodwood last month, which could be good enough against this motley crew, dropped back a furlong.
