EUROPA LEAGUE MONDAY: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews the Europa League semi-final on Monday between INTER MILAN v SHAKHTAR DONETSK with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

INTER MILAN V SHAKHTAR DONETSK
8pm What better way to start the week than a Europa League semi-final! Inter Milan meet Shakhtar after both sides impressed in their Quarter Finals. Shakhtar blew Basel away with a 4-1 win and they will be full of confidence with a smooth 3-0 win over Wolfsburg prior to that. It’s fair to say that Inter Milan will be a big step up, but they are in excellent form to take on the challenge.
On paper it looks like Inter Milan had to work hard to beat Bayer Leverkusen with a 2-1 score line, however xG says they should have scored more and won easily. They are on a five game winning streak after finishing Serie A strongly – comfortably finishing second in the table. Out of all the Quarter Finals, you’d have to say that Inter were the most impressive. Shakhtar scored more goals, but Inter absolutely dominated a decent Leverkusen side.
Both sides have impressed since arriving into the Europa League from the Champions League, and this should make for an excellent semi-final. I think Inter will come out on top, but their price looks a little too skinny at 1.81. I would be a lot happier with 1.9 or thereabouts, especially with Shakhtar in such good goal scoring form. Both sides have a lot of attacking options and although these games can sometimes be cagey, I feel both sides can gel together and we will see a good game here.
Over 2.5 goals at 1.7 is my selection. Inter finished the Serie A season strongly scoring at least two goals per game and Shakhtar games have had plenty of goals too. Over 2.5 goals is more or less the same price at both teams to score, but I think we’ll see plenty of goals here at overs looks worth backing at the odds.
