MATCH OVERVIEW:
A fascinating game. Trinbago extended their winning run Yesterday and sat top of the table with four wins from four games. They look exceptionally strong and have some of their star players in great form. At the moment, they look likely winners of the tournament – certainly reaching the final anyway! Let’s not forget that Guyana looked like Trinbago last season, winning all their games bar the final!
Guyana haven’t looked as good this season, and they have lost more games than they’ve won. Their batting has been a major worry – although they have had to play some late games and with batting so tough that makes it very difficult. They only managed 108/9 in their last game here and prior to that they recorded 134/8 trying to chase 144/7 and were 118 all out before that (they did win that game though). Late games have been very tough to bat and Guyana have been involved in a lot. Unfortunately for them, it’s the same situation tonight and Trinbago look like a very strong side.
WEATHER AND PITCH WATCH:
As noted above, batting at night looks very difficult here. I had hoped that Queen’s Park Oval might play a little bit better than the Brian Lara Stadium but it looks like we’ll have the same conditions for the whole tournament. Scores have been low and you’d have to expect more of the same here.
We have had weather worries in the early games, but the late games have been OK. Just a nightmare for the batsmen!
RECOMMENDED BET:
Trinbago Knight Riders have yet to let me down and they can continue their good form here today. They are a better side than Guyana and at the odds they look a very good bet. Guyana have really struggled with the bat and with Trinbago in excellent form they can out bowl this Guyana side. Narine has been excellent but they didn’t even need him yesterday and had the Zouks who have batted well in the tournament 111/6 before the rain came.
The Trinbago batting looks very solid too. Munro fired with a 50 against Barbados and they rocked up a score of 185/3. The West Indies stars look in good form and fresh which is a huge positive. Usually the likes of Pollard and Bravo would be travelling the world and picking up knocks but given the situation, all their big guns are fresh and flying!
The Edge Says:
Three points win Trinbago Knight Riders to beat Guyana Amazon Warriors at 1.78 with BETDAQ Exchange.

IN-RUNNING STRATEGY:
With this being a late game, wickets won’t be far away. Nearly all the late games have been low scoring and you’d have to expect a similar game here. That means focusing your trades on the bowling side and looking for good spots rather than hoping for trades on the batting side. Wickets can go very quickly and the market races against you.
The Trinbago middle order have been in excellent form though and if you’re going to support the batting side, that is probably the best time to do it. Guyana have lost a lot of wickets in the late games, and I would like to be against them when batting.
