BUNDESLIGA / LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Saturday’s games between BAYERN MUNICH V KOLN, SEVILLA V BARCELONA, RB LEIPZIG V GLADBACH and GETAFE V VALENCIA both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
BAYERN MUNICH V KOLN
2.30pm A fantastic day ahead in Europe. We have absolutely everything today – top quality sides in action with Bayern Munich and Barcelona, a competitive class in the Bundesliga and an open market in La Liga – all football bets are 0% commission on BETDAQ Betting Exchange today too, so hopefully we can find some winners! We start with the German Champions Bayern Munich hosting Koln who are in a relegation battle this season. I had given the Bundesliga title to Bayern a couple of weeks ago after the likes of RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen dropped points, however since returning from the UEFA World Club Cup, which they won, Bayern have only managed one point from two games and now they start the weekend with only a two point cushion.
They did manage to get back to winning ways midweek in the Champions League however, and it must be said that although they could only draw with Arminia Bielefeld and lost to Eintracht Frankfurt; they did actually perform well. Their xG figures were 2.85 and 2.27 so they still created a lot of chances. They blew Lazio away 4-1 midweek and it’s hard to see anything other than a smooth Bayern win here. Koln have been very poor this season, and looking at their xG figures they like to play an open game. That usually only means one result when you play Bayern and that’s goals. I’m going to take a chance here and back Any Other Home Win at 2.7 in the Correct Score market – I can see Bayern enjoying themselves today and scoring four or more.

SEVILLA V BARCELONA
3.15pm It’s fair to say this is the highlight fixture of the day and it’s a shame it’s on at 3.15pm and now 8pm when we can fully enjoy it – there will be a huge amount of sport on at the same time as this fixture which doesn’t do it justice. This has become a massive game for Barcelona now as they find themselves only five points behind Atletico Madrid after Atletico dropped four points in their last two games. Atletico still have a game in hand over Barcelona, but you never know what the pressure of Real Madrid and Barcelona chasing you can do so they just have to keep winning and hope Atletico continue to drop points.
Barcelona got back to winning ways midweek with an easy 3-0 win over Elche and that was a nice confidence boosting win after a terrible week. They lost 4-1 to PSG but then threw away more ground in La Liga with a 1-1 draw at home to Cadiz. They created an xG of 2.32 so they were unlucky to only draw, but if they want to try and even get close to Atletico they can’t be doing that. Sevilla also got back to winning ways in the Cup after losing to Dortmund in the Champions League. I can’t see anything other than a very high quality game here and it’s all about the odds for me, as usual. For me the value call is the Barcelona lay at 2.3. I take on board they have improved in recent weeks compared to the start of the season, but Sevilla have been rock solid and they have been creating good chances this season too – Barcelona have been poor at the back and I expect a closer game than odds of 2.3 on Barcelona suggest.

Two points lay (liability) Barcelona to beat Sevilla at 2.3 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

RB LEIPZIG V GLADBACH
5.30pm Next we move back over to the Bundesliga for a cracker. RB Leipzig found themselves only two points behind Bayern Munich at the end of last weekend after Bayern lost to Eintracht Frankfurt, and they also meet Gladbach at an excellent time. Gladbach have been poor in recent weeks and they have slipped all the way down the table to 8th, a full nine points away from the top four. They were brushed aside by Manchester City midweek in the Champions League and their xG figures have been poor for a while now. RB Leipzig need to still in top form however, as Gladbach have got results against the top Bundesliga sides recently. They beat Dortmund and Bayern Munich, and drew with Eintracht Frankfurt.
RB Leipzig have been on a nice winning run in the Bundesliga recently, and although they lost 2-0 to Liverpool in the Champions League they performed OK – they gave away the two goals with silly mistakes. Gladbach haven’t created an xG over 1 in their recent games and that has to be a worry going into a game like this. Leipzig will create chances going forward and you have to fancy Leipzig to out score Gladbach. The 1.68 is very tempting on Leipzig, however Gladbach have been quite negative lately and I can see them trying to keep this game very tight. Leipzig might grind out the win in the end, but under 2.5 goals makes a lot of appeal at 2.23 and that’s too big to ignore for me.

GETAFE V VALENCIA
8pm We end the day in La Liga with Getafe hosting Valencia. Things are very tight towards the bottom of La Liga this season and while you would fancy both these sides to stay up, it is an important game. Valencia look a little more comfortable than Getafe, as they are sitting in 12th six points off the relegation zone while Getafe are 15th just three points away from the bottom three. A win could change everything for a number of sides and you have to say it’s been an excellent season thus far in La Liga. There’s plenty of drama at the top and the bottom of the table!
It’s no surprise to have such an open market, and we’re going to have a lot of different opinions in the market for this one. I expect a reasonably low quality affair – I think that’s a reflect of the sides position in the table and their performances this season. You have to say that Valencia are the form side coming into this clash. They have climbed out of danger with two wins and a draw from their last four games and while they were lucky to beat Celta Vigo 1-0 last time out, they have been grinding out results better than Getafe. The hosts look in woeful form at the moment and they were lucky to only lost 1-0 to Real Betis last Friday – they conceded an xG of 2.91. Getafe give away a host of chance every game and while Valencia are limited, they look cracking value at 3.15 to take advantage of a very poor Getafe side. I’m quite confident on this bet and 3.15 looks way too big – if it wasn’t such a low quality affair it might have been a Max Bet.

Three points win Valencia to beat Getafe at 3.15 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange
