MONDAY IN EUROPE: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Monday’s games between CAGLIARI v NAPOLI and CELTA VIGO v LEVANTE both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
CAGLIARI V NAPOLI
6pm We have another massive week of action in Europe as the Champions League and Europa League knockout stages continue but we kick it off with Monday night football from Serie A and La Liga! We start the evening with Cagliari hosting Napoli, and this is a “must win” game for Napoli. It’s been a glorious weekend for them as AC Milan drew and Inter Milan lost – they must now take full advantage, and I’m sure they will be delighted to be playing a side sitting in the bottom three too. That brings its own challenges however because obviously Cagliari are fighting for their lives, and they have home advantage too so it won’t be a walk in the park for Napoli. Nevertheless, you have to say this is a fantastic chance for them to really get into the mix for the title. I know Inter will still have a game in hand and that a win here would still only see them match AC Milan at the top, but what a weekend it could be if they can win. You won’t see the top two sides drop points together often!
Napoli have had a run of big games, and they will be glad to see lower quality opposition. They grinded out a 1-1 draw away to Barcelona last week in the Europa League and that leaves them in a fantastic position with home advantage in the second leg on Thursday. They also picked up a 1-1 draw last weekend against Inter Milan, but they were actually unlucky not to win that game as they created an xG figure of over double what Inter Milan created. Napoli come here in top form, however you can say the same about Cagliari – although they are in the bottom three they have only lost once in their last six and they haven’t been lucky results either. They managed to beat Atalanta on that run too, and they have been creating good chances – their xG figures from those six games were 0.94, 1.45, 2.15, 0.85, 1.62 and 2.24. Pretty good for a side sitting in the bottom three. While I can see Napoli outclassing Cagliari, betting is all about the odds and getting value – and I just don’t believe Napoli should be as short as 1.57 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange!. I make that a good value lay. It might be a must win game for Napoli, but I expect a difficult evening for them.
The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Napoli to beat Cagliari at 1.57 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

CELTA VIGO V LEVANTE
8pm We move over to La Liga to finish Monday night football as Celta Vigo host Levante. We’re at that stage of the season now when Celta Vigo can’t achieve anything as they sit in La Liga and it must be hard for some of the players to get motivated. I know all players are different, but it’s easy to see why some of the “lazy” ones are “on the beach” early so to speak. I think I’ve said this before but I think I’d rather the odd relegation scare than finishing mid-table every season just for a bit of drama! Unfortunately for Levante fans, they would love to be sitting in mid-table as their side is rock bottom. They produced a 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid midweek and that win pretty much came from nowhere. I say came from nowhere, but I have touched on the fact that they have been unlucky this season so they deserved a bit of luck somewhere. It’s unfortunate they are cut adrift at the bottom of the table, and they have close to zero chance of staying up. They sit in 12th position in the xG table so they have been playing some very good football – hopefully they can keep most of the team together next season and they should bounce straight back up. It’s unfortunate what a bad run of results can do, because when you’re nailed to the bottom like Levante it’s easy for morale to drop and you forget about all the good performances with unlucky results.
The xG table has these two sides right beside each other, so I feel we’ll see a closer game than the odds of 1.66 suggest on Celta Vigo. Levante should get a nice confidence boost from the 1-0 win over Atletico, so perhaps this is a good time to back them. It’s hard to fully judge Levante from a home/away point of view because they have so few points this season, but just as an idea Celta Vigo sit in the bottom four on home form this season so I don’t see home advantage as an “advantage” for Celta here. Given the situation and their place in the table, I definitely want to keep stakes as low as possible here on Levante but I do believe the 1.66 on Celta Vigo offers a good value lay. Levante have been playing some nice football, and the stats are pretty clear on that, so I expect a closer game than the odds suggest.
The Ultra Says:
One point lay (liability) Levante to beat Celta Vigo at 1.66 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
