PREVIEW
After successfully qualifying for the Champions League semi- finals, it’s back to the domestic league duties for Roberto Di Matteo’s Chelsea, who need a win to maintain their challenge for a top four finish.

Martin Jol’s Fulham side will be the host for the Blues as they look to beat their West London rivals for the first time in 11 attempts, a run that stretches back to 2006. The Cottagers have been predictably strong at home losing only four times this season, picking up eight wins from their 16 home fixtures. Two early strikes against Norwich were enough to end a run of three straight defeats for Fulham and worryingly they failed to score in each of those.

Roberto Di Matteo continues to have a positive effect on the side and although it wasn’t their best effort against Benfica, it was another win under his belt. Fernando Torres looks to be improving with more game time and he’d love another league goal to go with the Villa strike.

This will be Chelsea’s third game in seven days, so there will likely be some tired legs on the pitch. There have only been three goals in Fulham’s past four against Chelsea and another tight game looks on the cards. Chelsea have a huge few weeks ahead of them and they can keep their good run up by edging out their West London rivals.
