Sean Cooney from the BETDAQ trading desk reported just before KO:
Prices haven’t really altered in the last couple of hours. Bayern holding firm at 1.71, a bit of money for Chelsea best price to back them now is 4.9 with the Draw still drifting but marginally; now 4.6.
3 mins Schweinsteiger is booked for a deliberate handball as Chelsea were looking to counter. He will have to be very careful from now on.
5 mins Schweinsteiger has the game’s first effort on goal, but Cahill closes down quickly to block for a corner.
10 mins Early stages very balanced. Little change to BETDAQ pre-match odds Bayern drifted one tick !!!! 1.72>1.73.

15 mins The DRAW has now shortened by half a point as game remains balanced with no clear chances as yet
16 mins Chelsea enjoy some good passing but are caught on the counter when they lose the ball. Ribery threatens on the left wing but Lampard is there to deny his cross from reaching the box.
19 mins A nervous moment for Chelsea in defence. Gomez turns well in the box but his touch is too hard. Lampard intercepts and passes across to Bosingwa, who mishits the ball and it goes out for another corner, although it could have gone anywhere.
25 mins We’re past the halfway stage of the first half and Bayern are piling on the pressure but their price is bigger than at KO now 1.76 from 1.72. DRAW continues to shorten and now 3.95 from opening 4.7
29 mins Robben’s free-kick is hit straight at Chelsea wall.
35 mins Contento releases Ribery on the left wing who cuts inside to have a shot with his right foot. He rather snatches at the opportunity and it goes wide.
37 mins Chelsea suddenly have some impetus going forward. A lovely flick back by Drogba leads to Kalou having a shot at goal from the right edge of the box. He hits the target with power, but Neuer is equal to it to save at his near post.
43 mins Gomez has another brilliant chance to give Bayern the lead. The ball falls to him inside the Chelsea box and he has the space to pick his spot but thrashes over. A very disappointing effort from the ‘hitman’.
45 mins Pedro Proenca calls an end to the first half of the Champions League Final.
BAYERN MUNCH 0 CHELSEA 0
Sean Cooney from the BETDAQ trading desk reports at half time:
The bright start from Bayern saw them shorten slightly on the off with a low of around 1.68. After about 15 minutes they’d eased again to 1.78 with Chelsea 4.8 and the draw shortening to 4.1. From Czech pushing the ball onto the post after about 20 minutes Bayern’s dominance in possession was showing in the market, shortening to 1.76 with very little movement until past the half hour mark. Market started to alter with about 10 minutes left in the half with the draw shortening from 4.0 to its current price of 3.15. Chelsea getting a little more into it has kept their price steady; biggest price of around 5.5 after 30 minutes and slightly shorter than that now.
How the first half odds changed on BETDAQ
The second half is underway
46 mins Bayern kick off the second half at the Allianz Arena.
49 mins Cole makes a vital challenge to prevent Robben going through on goal after a dangerous run on the right wing. Bayern still threaten though and Kroos’ shot is headed behind by Luiz.
53 mins Gomez goes down in the Chelsea box under the challenge of Cole, but replays show the referee is correct not to award a penalty. Good tackle.
54 mins Bayern finally have the ball in the net..but Ribery is offside as he taps home the loose ball following Cech’s save from Robben’s shot.
56 mins Kroos has an attempt from far out and doesn’t trouble the target. Bayern had enough bodies forward there to create a better chance than that, and Heynkes is rightly annoyed on the touchline.
60 mins Robben goes close as he recieves a nice little pass from Gomez to shoot at goal, but Cole is the heroic defender for Chelsea as gets the block in.
65 mins Price on DRAW collapsing and now 2.16 with 25 minutes left to play before extra time
68 mins Bayern have done everything they can but score. The only thing that has let them down is poor finishing.
70 mins Chelsea trading at a match high of 8. Can they nick a goal late on ?
71 mins Kroos has a powerful effort blocked. Cech looked beaten there.
72 mins Chelsea come forward for a rare attack. A string of nice passes results in Bosingwa crossing from the right. Kalou is the target but he can’t win the header. The ball comes back to Bosingwa who crosses again but Neuer claims this time.
74 mins Chelsea make a change now, Malouda is coming on for Bertrand, who may have picked up a knock.
78 mins Another chance goes begging for Bayern. Ribery’s skill gets him into the box. He is soon crowded out but manages to hit the ball across the box. Muller collects the loose ball and looks to hit across the goal but it is a poor effort and it goes wide.
83 mins the deadlock has been broken with 7 minutes of normal time left and the DRAW trading at 1.43 on BETDAQ at the time of suspension. Bayern have finally taken the lead. Robben’s cross from the left edge of the area is hit with perfection as Muller ghosts in at the far post to head past Cech. Cole has defended brilliantly tonight but that should have been his man and he lost him.
85 mins Chelsea respond by making a change. Torres is on for Kalou.
86 mins The goalscorer Muller is being replaced by Van Buyten as Bayern look to secure their lead.
90 mins Drogba loses his marker at the front post to meet Mata’s corner with an incredibly powerful header which Neuer can only help into his net. Fantastic late drama at the Allianz Arena. Bayern were trading at 1.12 at the time of suspension.
90 mins Three minutes injury time
We’re heading for 30 minutes injury time. TO WIN market displayed below.
How Bayern Munich and the DRAW prices traded in the second half (Chelsea hit high of 180)
Underway for extra time!
TO BAYERN
94 mins Drogba may have just made a costly mistake as he stupidly trips of Ribery from behind in the box. He earns a yellow card. Will he turn from hero to villain in a matter of minutes? Bayern trading at 1.66 to win as the market again suspends.
95 mins Cech has saved Robben’s penalty! Robben hits his penalty poorly, Cech fumbles the ball and smothers it in his arms at the second attempt.
98 mins And there was me thinking halfway through the second half it was a disappointing final and not a match on the Man City game last Sunday 🙁
99 mins Another Bayern corner goes to waste as Chelsea get it clear. They have failed to make any of their corners count, whereas Chelsea have had just one corner, and we know what happened with that.
104 mins Torres does well to fool his marker on the right after recieving the deep free-kick. His cross is a dangerous one to the far post but Neuer is able to reach it.
105 mins It’s halftime of extra time and we’re 15 minutes away from penalties !!
108 mins Lahm bursts forward on the left and chips a lovely ball to the far post for the unmarked Olic to finish, but the substitute hits it just wide. Great chance to score.
110 mins Bayern look to have taken control of this second period of extra-time, with Chelsea having to do a lot of defending.
120 mins No late winner so the 2012 Champions League Final be determined on penalties.
How the odds changed during extra time
PENALTY SHOOT OUT
How the odds changed after each penalty
Chelsea have done it! They are European champions for the first time in their history. Drogba is undoubtedly the hero, having scored the equaliser with just minutes remaining to send the game to extra-time and then hitting home the winning penalty. Roman Abramovich has finally got what he cherishes so desperately and the word is that he has planned a big party in Munich for his team.
