TUESDAY SERIE A: The Ultra previews Tuesday’s games between CREMONESE v ROMA and JUVENTUS v TORINO both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

CREMONESE V ROMA

5.30pm Serie A is the focus for Tuesday night football from Europe on BETDAQ Betting Exchange! We have two interesting markets with Roma and Juventus both in action. They both got given a little extra time to recover after the Europa League action, and both are now looking for to the Last 16 in early March. We start the evening with Cremonese hosting Roma, and while it might sound dramatic I view this as a must win game for Roma. Cremonese are nailed to the bottom of the table and have been sitting last for a large part of the season – Roma are in the top four race and they can’t afford to drop points against the side sitting bottom of the table if they want Champions League football next season. Cremonese are the only side left in Serie A not to win a game this season – indeed even if you include the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 they still remain the only side not to win a game. They have picked up nine draws this season from their 23 games, so it hasn’t just been a case of back the side they are playing! They have managed more draws away from home compared to at home – they’ve actually been very poor at home this season, and it would be a surprise to see anything bar a Roma win here.

I got a surprise myself when I clicked into the market and saw Roma trading as high as 1.77. That is a very appealing price considering how well Roma have been playing this season. Jose Mourinho has them full of confidence and they have been excellent going forward. Their average xG created is a high 1.8. They have been rock solid at the back too, in typical Jose Mourinho fashion, their average xG conceded is only 0.7 which is one of the lowest figures around the top leagues in Europe. They sit just three points behind Inter Milan after Inter lost at the weekend, and a win here would be a huge step forward in their top four hopes. As you would imagine given they haven’t won a game all season, the Cremonese under-lining numbers are very poor. Their average xG conceded is a high 1.9, and given how many chances Roma are creating this season I just can’t see past a Roma win. The 1.77 is at least ten ticks too high in my opinion, and I’m happy to have a Max Bet on Jose Mourinho’s men at the odds.

The Ultra Says:
Five points win Roma to beat Cremonese at 1.77 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

JUVENTUS V TORINO

7.45pm Next we have Juventus hosting Torino, and this should be a good game. Both sides are right beside each other in the table with Juventus just one point ahead of Torino – of course we all know that the gap would be much bigger if Juventus didn’t get a 15 point deduction after an investigation into their transfer dealings. Torino let two points go last weekend with a 2-2 draw at home to Cremonese. They were unlucky because they finished the game with an xG of nearly four times what they conceded. Juventus were in action in the Europa League, and di Maria lead them to a comfortable 3-0 win over Nantes after they could only draw the first leg. After going through a tough patch around the time they got the 15 points deduction Juventus have bounced back well. They have climbed their way back up the table, but I feel there is too much of a gap for them to get back into the top six and the European spots. The Champions League is what they want anyway, and their chances of that are gone – that will be a massive blow next season. Not only in terms of money, but in terms of the players who want to come to the club and maybe even some who will fancy leaving for Champions League football. Juventus were comfortably sitting in the top four because the points deduction, but it’s also fair to say that they haven’t been at their best this season. They have had to grind out all their wins rather than blow teams away.

You can see that when you look at their under-lining numbers. Their average xG created is 1.5 – which is a nice figure, but not as impressive as the top four sides. Usually you see a bigger figure from the top sides around Europe. They have been rock solid at the back though, and their home form has also been excellent this season. Torino have a huge task on their hands here, but they have been having a rock solid season. Juventus come into the game as the odds on favourites – ironically they are the exact same price as Roma tonight too – however, I much prefer the Roma bet from a value point of view! Torino have played a lot better football than Cremonese this season, and Juventus haven’t created as much as Roma. I feel Torino will have to make Juventus work very hard to win here, and we could easily see a classic cagey Italian game. Under 2.5 goals is trading 1.69 and that looks the value call in my opinion. Both sides are solid at the back, and neither do anything fancy going forward – I wouldn’t even be surprised to see a 0-0 here.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.69 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
