NAP LOOKS A HIT

⭕ 2.00 Wincanton Hititi was a revelation at Exeter last time out and a follow-up looks on the cards in this similar class 3 event over a slightly shorter trip.

The handicapper has inevitably clobbered him – 9lb in this case but the manner of his success “went further clear approaching last, nudged out run-in, easily” suggests that is not going to anchor him.

Forever William and Silent Revolution help make the market for us but both are seemingly in the grip of the handicapper.

Forever William is dropped a pound for his course second last month whilst Silent Revolution was a disappointing beaten favourite last time out at Taunton during a spell when the stables runners were in top form.

POWER AND THE GLORY

⭕ 2.45 Lingfield Even with three non runners this hardly looks easy but in a race of mainly disappointing types Regal Glory stands out like a beacon.

She’s managed to do something her rivals have struggled to do – win a race. Her sole win came here over today’s trip back in December and she has run with credit since in two starts off her revised mark. The step back from a mile last time should also be a positive.

At the front of the Betdaq Betting Exchange market Harry The Haggler has been well backed this morning ahead of his first start in handicap company. He will need to show plenty more and whilst that’s likely it’s more than factored into his current price for a horse that was sent off at 150/1 at Kempton last time out.

Eight Mile looks the obvious danger. Although he has been a beaten favourite in his last two starts his form stacks up well in the context of this race and Benoit De La Sayette back aboard is an obvious positive.

JILLY COOPER STORY LOOKS GOOD

⭕ 7.00 Wolverhampton Midweek evening flat racing resumes after last week’s hiatus with a decent class 2 fillies handicap being the highlight at Dunstall Park.

Coco Jamboo was a good winner at Newmarket in September but was held in second by He’s A Minster in a class 4 course and distance event here earlier this month. She’s entitled to come on for that run but whether that’s enough to negate TWO steps up the class ladder is debatable. There’s also a question mark over the current form of trainer Marco Botti.

I’ll take a chance that the race fit Jilly Cooper might be good enough. She ran well enough in this grade at Lingfield in February and with fitness concerns about Mrs USA (132 day break) sets the standard.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
