WEEK AHEAD: Wimbledon’s second week the highlight as the summer of sport continues. The Women’s and Men’s finals will be staged on Centre Court at the weekend.

Monday Wimbledon will have to fight through the rain again as day eight commences from 11:00 on BBC.

It’s crunch time at Wimbledon on Tuesday with the quarter-final stage live on BBC from 11:00. The Tour de France is also back in action with coverage of stage 10 getting underway on ITV from 12:00.

Wednesday sees the Wimbledon quarter-final stage coming to a close as the final fours are decided from 11:00 on BBC. There’s no rest for the riders in the Tour de France as they go straight into stage 11 from 12:00 on ITV. There is also action from the Women’s Ashes with the first of the ODI matches starting at 13:00 on Sky Sports as England look to make a spirited comeback in the series.

As always, Thursday means a start to the week’s golfing action, with the Scottish Open taking centre stage on Sky Sports from 08:00. The final four battle it out in the Wimbledon Ladies’ singles in the semi-finals, live on BBC from 14:00. The Newmarket Festival brings horse racing to the calendar as the racing action is shown on ITV from 13:50. The Tour de France riders battle on through stage 12 on ITV from 12:00.

It’s a fantastic Friday for racing with the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket taking place on ITV with coverage starting from 13:15. It’s the final chance for the players to make the cut in the Scottish Open as the second rounds commence from 08:00 on Sky Sports. It’s the turn of the men in the Wimbledon semi-finals as the final four take to the court to compete for a place in the final from 14:00 on BBC. The Tour de France riders face another gruelling 137.8km in stage 13, which gets underway from 12:00 on ITV.

Saturday sees the first of Wimbledon’s two biggest games as the Ladies’ singles final is live on BBC from 14:00. With cuts made in the Scottish Open the remaining players return for their third round at the later start time of 10:00 on Sky Sports. Stage 14 marks a full two weeks of racing for the Tour de France riders who will yet again take to the roads from 12:00 on ITV. The World Matchplay Darts begins on Sky Sports as the players will be in action from 19:00 on Sky Sports. It’s also the last of three days of racing at Newmarket as the runners and riders take to the track from 13:40 live on ITV.

Sunday the Men’s Final takes place on Wimbledon’s Centre Court live on BBC from 14:00. It is also the final day of action in the Scottish Open as the players begin their fourth and final rounds from 10:00 on Sky Sports. Sunday sees the second of three ODI’s in the Women’s Ashes with the action beginning at 11:00 on Sky Sports. The riders reach the three-quarter point in the Tour de France as stage 15 kicks off at 12:00 on ITV. The World Matchplay Darts returns for its second say with an earlier start time of 13:00 on Sky Sports.
