MATCH OVERVIEW:

West Indies and India hit America on Saturday afternoon as the T20 series rolls on. We’ve had three good games so far on BETDAQ Betting Exchange with West Indies leading the series 2-1. As I said in an earlier preview, this is the best format of the game for West Indies and they now have a fantastic chance to win a series against India. I know this isn’t India’s best side at the moment, but a series win for West Indies would be a much needed boost after the disappointment of missing out on the ODI World Cup later in the year.

The problem for West Indies now is India have bounced back from going 2-0 down to win the 3rd T20, and they also lose home advantage too. The West Indies board probably make more money hosting the games in America – otherwise it wouldn’t happen – but they’ve have a better chance of winning at home in my opinion. It will be interesting to see how this young Indian side handle the pressure of needing to win two games in a row to claim a series. Although in fairness they bounced back well from being 2-0 down and getting themselves in a must win situation in the last T20. They chased down 159/5 with 13 balls to spare.

Cricket in America seems to be growing at a fast pace. We’ve had Major League Cricket, and now India arrive. Hopefully batting conditions are good and we get two great games over the weekend. There’s actually a lot of pressure on Cricket USA before they host the T20 World Cup, because at the moment it seems they aren’t ready to host such a tournament facilities wise!

WEATHER AND PITCH WATCH:

Both sides will have experience of Lauderhill in Florida. West Indies and India have used this ground more than any other side. It’s actually quite a stat that these two sides have played more T20’s here than USA! The sides last played two T20’s here in August 2022 – India won both scoring 191/5 to win by 59 runs and 188/7 to win by 88 runs. Fun fact the two sides actually also played twice here in 2019 and were scheduled to play twice as well in 2016 but only got one game in because of weather.

RECOMMENDED BET:

India have won the last four meetings between the sides here, twice in 2019 and again twice last year. This is a young and exciting Indian side, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if they made that six in a row this weekend. I feel West Indies have lost some good momentum losing the 3rd T20 and now moving to America – I like India here at 1.51. I’d have them a handful of ticks lower, but I’m not going to go crazy with the stakes.

The Edge Says:
Two points win India to beat West Indies at 1.51 with Betdaq Exchange

IN-RUNNING STRATEGY:

Firs thing to confirm in America is batting conditions – we don’t see much cricket here so it’s always good to start slowly. Even Major League Cricket wasn’t here for recent ground data. The last few T20’s have been high scoring here, but they are spaced out. I’m sure the groundsman will be told to prepare a good wicket for entertaining to be honest. Once you can confirm good batting conditions, I would definitely only focus on looking for trades on the batting side here. You’d want to be aiming for 190+ based on the Indian scores and then the USA v Ireland 1st T20. The wicket is going to be at its best today as we have two games over the weekend. The best trade might be getting on the team batting first, and trading out at the innings break.
