REAL MADRID V GETAFE

3.15pm It’s another fantastic Saturday in Europe with the top sides all in action from La Liga, the Bundesliga and Serie A on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE. Napoli v Lazio looks like the highlight of the day in Serie A later, but we kick off the action in La Liga as Real Madrid host Getafe. After everyone had played three games, Real Madrid are the only side left with a 100% record. The market is expecting them to keep their 100% record here too as they are trading 1.35 at the time of writing. If you fancy a surprise then Getafe are 12.0 while the draw is 5.5. Getafe usually keep the score line respectable against Real, but Real have an excellent long-term record. The sides have met 28 times and Real have won 23! They’ve won the last three meetings, but Getafe did manage a 1-0 win when they had home advantage in 2022. When Real have had home advantage, they’ve won the last six meetings. It’s hard to see past Real here, and I couldn’t put anyone off including them in your weekend Acca at 1.35.

The bigger question from a betting point of view here is how many goals can the home side score? The last seven meetings between the sides have had Under 2.5 goals, and if you fancy another cagey affair here then that’s trading 2.02. I’m slightly surprised to see that’s marginally odds against to be honest – you just know Getafe will come here to defend and Real will have to grind out a win. They have been grinding out wins at the start of the season, but in fairness this is their first home game. Getafe managed to hold Barcelona to a 0-0 draw on the opening weekend, and while they had Under 2.5 goals in their other home game – they did concede three goals when away from home! I’m happy to limit stakes here, but I do like the Unders at the odds. I would just have it a few ticks odds on rather than marginally odds against. I’d expect to see Real run out 1-0 or 2-0 winners.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Under 2.5 goals at 2.02 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

GLADBACH V BAYERN MUNICH

5.30pm We move over to the Bundesliga next as the German Champions Bayern Munich travel to take on Gladbach. Everyone on social media seemed to enjoy the Harry kane videos from Bayern this week, and they’ll be hoping to keep their 100% record on the pitch too. Kane has scored three times and two games thus far, and he seems a perfect fit up front for the way Bayern play – he’ll scores tonnes this season if he stays fit. Gladbach come into this game with only one point from their opening two games, and they have conceded seven goals too! Not an ideal stat when you’re facing a side like Bayern! After a 4-4 draw with Augsburg, they lost 3-0 to Bayer Leverkusen last weekend. It was nice to land our bet on Over 2.5 goals there, and you’d have to expect more goals here too. The market agrees with that, and Over 2.5 goals is trading exceptionally short at 1.24 here! That must be one of the shortest prices I’ve seen for Over 2.5 goals when a side isn’t trading sub 1.1. Bayern are still heavy favourites however; they are trading 1.36 at the time of writing with Gladbach 8.2 and the draw is 6.8.

It’s very hard to see past a Bayern win here considering how many goals Gladbach concede these days. As I mentioned in my preview of them last weekend, they seem to be going backwards these days and they have turned into a mid-table side. I would highly recommend including Bayern in any football Acca this weekend, and for me finding a bet in the side markets is all about how many goals can Bayern score. I fancy they run riot here, and I’m going to look for something at a nice price. Any Other Away Win (Bayern to score four or more goals and win) is trading 2.88 in the Correct Score market and that looks very nice value in my opinion. Gladbach have nearly conceded four goals twice already, and now they face the best team in Germany – this could be a cricket score!

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Any Other Away Win Correct Score at 2.88 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

NAPOLI v LAZIO

7.45pm We finish a cracking Saturday in Serie A with arguably the best fixture of the day as Napoli host Lazio. It’s certainly the most competitive from a betting point of view with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich both trading in the 1.3’s to win. Although it’s the most competitive, we still have an odds on favourite. Napoli are trading 1.67 at the time of writing with Lazio 5.9 and the draw is 4.2. Napoli have won both their games thus far, and although they would have been fully expected to win their opening games against Frosinone and Sassuolo they haven’t put a foot wrong. I said at the start of the season, it’s going to be very interesting how they perform this season because they’re coming down off such a big high winning their first title after so long last season. As we saw with AC Milan, it’s hard to back that up. Napoli’s xG figures were exceptional last season though, and you’d have to expect a big performance from them this season. Lazio, on the other hand, didn’t quite have the xG figures to match their finishing position last season.

In the end they finished in second place which was a massive achievement, however they over-performed at the back and also up front. They “only” created an average xG of 1.3 last season which is very small compared to the sides around them, their actual average goals scored was higher at 1.6 and it was more-or-less the same at the back. Their average xG conceded was 1.1 but their actual goals conceded was only 0.8. It might seem like only small figures at a difference of 0.3, but the xG table actually knocks them down to mid-table. One wonders can they hold onto their top four spot this season. One thing you’d say about Lazio is though they are clearly fantastic at grinding out results and getting the job done – they managed to win here last season too! This is Napoli’s first big test this season, and I feel the match will be closer than odds of 1.67 suggest. From a value point of view I’m happy to have a small lay on Napoli – I can see Lazio putting XI men behind the ball and trying to grind out a draw.

The Ultra Says:
One point lay (liability) Napoli to beat Lazio at 1.67 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
