TUESDAY CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: The Ultra previews Tuesday’s two games between INTER MILAN v ATLETICO MADRID and PSV v DORTMUND both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
INTER MILAN V ATLETICO MADRID=
8pm We kick off another massive week in the Champions League Last 16 on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! We have some top class fixtures this week, and we start the action on Tuesday night with Inter Milan hosting Atletico Madrid. Both sides recorded wins in Serie A and La Liga at the weekend, with Inter Milan increasing their lead to nine points at the top of Serie A plus they have a game in hand. That is a huge cushion at this stage of the season, and it will allow them to rest players between Champions League games too. Atletico Madrid aren’t in the title race in La Liga; they never have been this season, but they are probably in a similar situation in the sense that they are safely in the top four with a little cushion to fifth – they are probably target this competition now, but it’s also clear that they haven’t been at their best over the last two seasons. Inter will be heavily fancied to progress from this tie, but they’ll have to start strongly with home advantage here. Atletico have been poor away from home in La Liga this season, and you get the feeling that they’ll be just trying to get through this fixture with as little damage done as possible.
Inter Milan come into the game as the odds on favourites; the home win is trading 1.84 with Atletico Madrid 5.3 and the draw is 3.65 at the time of writing. It’s clear that Inter have been the best side in Italy this season – any fans of xG figures were just waiting for them to take over in the title race looking at their under-lining numbers compared to Juventus. At home they have an average xG of over 2.0 and an average conceded of under 1.0 – that’s exceptionally impressive, and they’ve only dropped points twice here all season. As I mentioned above, the red flag for Atletico this season is their away under-lining numbers – they are conceding more chances than they are creating away from home in La Liga. They actually come into this game with some pretty poor results away from home – they’ve only managed one win in their last seven La Liga games. They have had to play Barcelona, Girona and Real Madrid in that run, but they face one of the best sides in Europe here too. I can’t see past the Inter win here given how the sides line-up; I think home advantage will be massive here and the 1.84 is worth a confident bet.
The Ultra Says:
Three points win Inter Milan to beat Atletico Madrid at 1.84 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

PSV V DORTMUND
8pm Next we have PSV hosting Dortmund, and while this might not be as glamorous as Inter Milan v Atletico Madrid, it’s certainly a very interesting market. PSV are running away with the title in the Netherlands, while Dortmund are in a battle for a top four spot with RB Leipzig. Dortmund came back from the winter break in the Bundesliga six points behind RB Leipzig, but Sancho arriving has given them a massive boost going forward added to a couple of losses from RB Leipzig and now Dortmund have a one point advantage sitting in fourth spot. For PSV, they have such a big lead at the top of the Eredivisie they can put all their focus into the Champions League for the time being. It’s actually an excellent chance for them to progress into the Quarter-Finals. PSV have yet to actually lose in the Eredivisie this season, but it is hard to judge what the level is; in fairness it’s probably not far away from the likes of Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga outside of the obvious big names. PSV come into this game as the favourites at 2.26 with Dortmund 3.25 and the draw is 3.85 at the time of writing. You have to say that PSV probably need to win this game to go through but there won’t be a massive favourite over the two legs – you’d have Dortmund as marginally favourites.
Dortmund were held to a 1-1 draw at the weekend by Wolfsburg away from home, and much like Atletico Madrid in the above game their away performance level is a major worry here. This season in the Bundesliga, they are conceding more chances than they are creating away from home and that average xG conceded of 1.61 is quite high too. Dortmund seemingly don’t know how to play a very cagey game; they tend to always be open and attack, but you’d have to recommend that they keep things as tight as possible here. They’ve only managed two wins from their last eight away Bundesliga games, and they came against two sides in the bottom three – and in Germany we have the bottom three quite adrift too. PSV will be full of confidence given their domestic form, and they were unbeaten in the Group stage at home too. I’m definitely keeping stakes small in this one but away from home Dortmund have been there for the taking so the 2.26 on PSV is worth a small investment.

One point win PSV to beat Dortmund at 2.26 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
