MONDAY PREMIER LEAGUE: The Striker previews SHEFFIELD UNITED v ARSENAL with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
SHEFFIELD UNITED V ARSENAL
8pm We have Monday Night Football to enjoy from the Premier League on BETDAQ Betting Exchange this week! Arsenal will be fully expected to win against Sheffield United, and they come into the game as the red-hot favourites. The Gunners are trading as short as 1.19 at the time of writing which is the shortest price of this matchday. Anything bar a comfortable Arsenal win would be a complete shock, and Sheffield United are trading 17.5 with the draw 9.2. This is more than likely going to be a case of how many goals Arsenal score rather than will they win.
I wouldn’t put anyone off including Arsenal in their Acca, but in terms of a value bet we’ll have to look around the side markets with Arsenal so short in the match odds market. Sheffield United recorded a recent win over Luton Town, but they remain bottom of the table and they have been comfortably the worst side in the Premier League this season. If anything all that result did was put a massive dent in Luton’s hopes of staying up rather than giving Sheffield United a chance. They have the worst attacking figure in the Premier League, along with the worst defensive figure looking at xG!
Sheffield United have an overall performance figure of -1.03. Not only is that the worst performance figure in the Premier League, it’s the whole of Europe’s elite leagues. That pretty much sums up how poor Sheffield United have been this season. Perhaps the only positive thing to say about Sheffield United is that they have eight points at home and only five away, but that’s hardly that positive! Arsenal have an average xG created of 1.87 which is more than double Sheffield United’s figure and they also have the best defensive figure in the league.
Arsenal have an average xG conceded of only 0.90 this season, which is mainly why a lot of football pundits are giving them a serious chance of winning the title this season. They have definitely improved at the back, and of course they have the run-in experience from last season too. I still don’t see them being as good as Manchester City when it comes to the crunch. It’s hard to say how many Arsenal can score here – Sheffield United have been conceding quite a few goals recently. They’ve lost 5-0 in their last two home games, and they’ve conceded 15 goals in their last four home games.
They’ve only scored one goal in their last four Premier League games too. Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.45 but you’d have to expect Arsenal to do most of the work there. I like Both Teams Not To Score at 1.74 which is effectively an Arsenal clean sheet on the way to winning. We have the best defensive side against the worst attacking side in the league here, and it’s not like Sheffield United have been scoring recently too. The 1.74 looks nice value and worth a confident bet.
The Striker Says:
Three points win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.74 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
