The Henry de Bromhead trained hurdler could well prove difficult to peg back as he is a confirmed front runner who was only just collared in the closing stages at Clonmel last time out.
Biggest danger is likely to come from Birzali who ran his best race to date last time out when second to Mount Colah at Down Royal. The form looks solid as Mount Colah won next time out and the race should revolve around this pair, as the BETDAQ market is indicating with little to choose between the two.
It was puzzling to see Blossom Gate put in at odds-on in the forecast for the 6.30 race. Even at BETDAQ odds of 2.74, at the time of writing, I’m still not that keen and a lay is in order. She looked good when winning two bumpers but has a lot still to prove over hurdles having pulled up in heavy ground at Roscommon on her debut over sticks.
