THREE BETS ON WEDNESDAY: Daqman takes in selections from Lingfield, Catterick and Kempton on Wednesday.

FULL HOUSE FOR PALLADIUM: All eyes will be on Nicky Henderson’s Palladium who makes his jumping debut in the 12.47 at Huntingdon on Thursday. Winner of the German Derby on the flat, he is as low as 14/1 for the Triumph before jumping a flight in public.

LEQUINTO THE PERCENTAGE CALL

⭕ 2.55 Lingfield It’s a low grade card at Lingfield today with the best of the action only getting as high as class five.

This six furlong handicap might be best left to Lequinto, who has been knocking on the door of late and this looks the easiest chance for a while for the Tony Carroll trained eight-year-old.

It’s been some time since he has seen the winner’s enclosure, but there was plenty to like from his most recent start at Wolverhampton when he finished second to Royal Musketeer.

He might even have won that day, but for meeting congestion inside the final furlong. It was a decent effort and although the handicapper has put him up one pound for his efforts, he still brings the best recent form to the table.

Tyger Bay goes well here at Lingfield but might just be struggling off his current handicap mark. I see no obvious reason why he should improve on recent efforts despite his consistency.

A bigger danger to the selection might come from the Jamie Osborne trained Hierarchy who often leaves his effort late.

He is another one who is overdue a win and was staying on to good effect at Kempton last time out and should again be doing his best work at the end with big place chances.

DILLY A DECENT FILLY

⭕ 4.08 Catterick Tilehurst made a good impression on debut at Market Rasen when storming home to win by eight and a half lengths on good ground.

However, he only had three rivals that day and the form has been let down badly since, with the remaining three runners all soundly beaten in their subsequent races.

On top of that, the Neil Mulholland trained runner also has a penalty to defy here, and that is notoriously difficult to do in bumpers.

Whilst he heads the Betdaq Betting Exchange market for this, I think there is value in opposing him with Dilly’s Gunner, a locally trained runner.

The filly made a pleasing debut at Wetherby when chasing home Eagle’s Reprieve and the form of that race might well turn out to be better than that of Tilehurst.

Eagles Reprieve went on to run a good race in better company at Haydock to give the form a boost.

MASTERCLASS FORM NAP?

⭕ 7.30 Kempton It’s possible we haven’t seen the best of Master Technician yet on just his fourth all weather start.

He faced an easy task in novice company last time out and won nicely at Lingfield over this distance which appears perfect for the Rod Millman trained runner

He’s up against some seasoned three year olds in this contest including Sex On Fire who so far has had five chances in handicap company without success.

The William Haggas trained Art Market ran his best race for a while when second at Southwell and has chances, as does the outsider of the five Kiniro for Harry Charlton.

He looks the most progressive of the field and steps up to this distance after winning by neck over six furlongs at Lingfield last time out.
