SUPERNAP WINS 30 POINTS: Daqman landed a 20-point-win supernap at Downpatrick yesterday and warns there will be another later in the week.

WON 6-4 CLOSUTTON (supernap)

TODAY Daqman’s picks from holiday meetings around the country include a 50-point bull’s-eye bet

‘WOODY’ PLOT TO SLOW JET

⭕ 3.38 Uttoxeter It doesn’t take a mind-reader to fancy that Deborah Cole has had this event planned for Imac Wood.. since, well, since they won the race last year!

Honest ‘Woody’ had already scored three times for a 3lb claimer and Lewis Stones (3) reduces his weight to a winning mark today. It would be Deborah’s first winner of the new season, and it’s scary she’s in the fray with Dan Skelton.

But BETDAQ 9.0 Imac Wood eases the doubts, particularly when – though it’s Skelton’s top track – he hasn’t had a winner anywhere for three weeks, and his small-fields winner, Lady Jago, is 11.5.

Northern Bound came back to form at Worcester in May but hasn’t put two wins together since 2022.

He and Baskerville have to give almost a stone to Imac Wood, and Slade Shore has yet to play above novices level.

Salley Gardens bounced on his hat-trick bid for a change of trainer: a drifter in the market, pulled up.

Jet Smart’s hat-trick was in point-to-points and a slow-run novice chase, in which only three contested the outcome (favourite underperformed and fourth horse tailed off).

PRINCE LOVER OF CATTERICK

⭕ 5.00 Catterick The 5lb claimer Archie Young shows a stunning level-stakes profit on all rides this year of 57 points.

His mount here, Benacre, was racing off 95-96 after a classy two-year-old career but things got a bit quirky and he had to be gelded.

Now down to 79 on turf (74 with the allowance) after scoring off 76 at Newcastle. BETDAQ 7.6 taken.

Bellarchi also shot up into the Nineties after taking a class-2 fillies’ handicap at Ascot last May. Oliver Stammers won on her at Southwell in March.

Edward Bethell won the race last year with a three-year-old and Native Instinct was seen staying on in higher grade at Pontefract over shorter but he’s hard to settle best form is at 6f. Tends to pull right (this is a left-handed track).

It’s always hard to spot Tim Easterby’s winners but Catterick and Vince Le Prince go nicely together it seems, with form on the course for the Iffraaj five-year-old of 1121. Betdaq Betting Exchange 5.2 taken.

PROFIT FROM COX HAT-TRICK

⭕ 7.40 Yarmouth Six out of eight winners of this sprint were drawn 2, 3, 4 and all bar one since 2018 have been aged three or four.

Clive Cox, holding pause for a hat-trick after a Salisbury double on Saturday, drops Profit Rockit back from a mile. BETDAQ 7.2

Temple Bruer, who has won off 80 and 82, has run a couple of good races on this course off 76, and won on AW off 65 in February. Today on 61 in first-time visor instead of cheekpieces.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
