BAYERN MUNICH V WERDER BREMEN

7.30pm It’s the start of another cracking weekend on Betdaq Betting Exchange, as Friday night football comes from the Bundesliga! Bayern Munich host Werder Bremen with Harry Kane in seemingly unstoppable form. With Bayer Leverkusen selling their star players and Xabi Alonso going to Real Madrid, the door was always open for Bayern to ease their way to the title this season. We’ve already nearly seen that play out – Leverkusen have already sacked Erik ten Hag and Bayern sit top of the table.

Dortmund and RB Leipzig are behind them, but they haven’t been a force for a while and their under-lining numbers have been quite average over the last season too. A straight forward domestic title win would certainly leave Bayern in a very nice position to make a serious challenge for the Champions League this season too. As we saw with PSG; the ability to rest players domestically when you hit the crunch Champions League games is massive.

This is a game that Bayern will be fully expected to win, and they come into the game as the red-hot favourites. Outside of international football, this is actually the shortest price I’ve seen so far this season. Bayern Munich are trading 1.1 with Werder Bremen 30.0 and the draw is 14.0 at the time of writing. It’s fair to say anything bar a Bayern win here would be a massive shock – up there with the title of “biggest shock of the season” even after only a few weeks.

Obviously the gulf in class between the sides is massive. Werder Bremen have finished in ninth and eighth position over the last two seasons; it’s probably a reflection of how weak the Bundesliga is that Bayern are as short as 1.1 to win here – it’s not like Werder have just come up from Bundesliga 2 or have been battling relegation. There are obviously a lot of red flags with Werder Bremen at the back though, and when you bring poor defensive figures to Bayern away, that usually spells carnage.

It’s close to impossible to see past the Bayern win here. This one will be about how many goals they can score rather than will they actually win. We’ll have to look around the side markets here; and obviously the goal and handicap markets are the place to start. The market is expecting goals with Over 3.5 trading 1.51 but it’s also expecting Bayern to do most of the work there with Both Teams Not To Score trading 2.02. Bayern like to play an exceptionally open game – it’s a case of “we’ll score more than you” so I wouldn’t fancy them to keep a clean sheet here, but their two home games this season have been 6-0 and 5-0 wins! I like Bayern to cover the handicap here, and I’m happy with 1.68 -2.5 goals to kick off the weekend.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Bayern Munich -2.5 goals to beat Werder Bremen at 1.68 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
