THE ULTRA SUNDAY: The Ultra previews a massive game from Serie A on Sunday as AC Milan host Napoli with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
AC MILAN V NAPOLI
7.45pm We have a cracker from Serie A on Sunday on Betdaq Betting Exchange! AC Milan host Napoli is undoubtedly the clash of the day around Europe! Both sides have had very positive starts to the season – Napoli have had four wins from four and AC Milan come into the weekend sitting in third with three wins from their four games. They had a shock 2-1 loss here on the opening weekend against Cremonese, but they absolutely dominated the game. They finished with 64% possession and an xG of 2.48 compared to conceding just 0.68. You could argue that they got their unluckiest result of the season out of the way on the opening weekend!
Napoli had a real rollercoaster win last weekend against Pisa, but overall they have been ticking their boxes nicely. They will also be delighted to see Inter Milan drop so many points already! It’s no surprise that we have a reasonably open market here; AC Milan are the favourites at 2.46 with Napoli 3.35 and the draw is 3.3 at the time of writing. On paper there really isn’t much between the sides this season – they sit in second and third on attacking figure with just 0.04 between them. AC Milan have been stronger at the back; their average xG conceded of 0.84 is the best defensive figure in Serie A this season.
It’s hard to argue with the market here; with home advantage and their performance levels, AC Milan should be the favourites. I’m sure the Napoli price will make a lot of appeal to plenty of football punters this weekend; they just seem to get the job done under Conte to be honest! They do have a strong recent record against AC Milan too – they’ve won the last two meetings and only lost once in the last five.
Both sides are clearly playing some very good football this season – as I said above, this should be a very high quality game. Under 2.5 goals has collected in four of the last six meetings, and that’s an appealing price here at 1.73. Both sides have clearly been creating a decent level of chances, but they have also been very impressive at the back. I really don’t see this game being too open at all, in fact I feel we’ll see a quite cagey affair and Unders looks a nice position at the odds.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.73 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
