THE ULTRA SUNDAY: The Ultra previews a massive game from Serie A on Sunday as Juventus host AC Milan with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
JUVENTUS V AC MILAN
7.45pm We have a blockbuster fixture on Betdaq Betting Exchange from Serie A on Sunday! Juventus host AC Milan is undoubtedly the clash of the weekend from Europe. This is the last action before we head into another International Break, which in my opinion comes too soon into the season especially after the one in September. Unfortunately, we have another one in November too – we’ve only had five matchdays in Serie A before this weekend! It’s been an exciting start to the season in Serie A though – everyone has dropped points at some stage!
This is a massive game for both sides. As things stand coming into the weekend, AC Milan, Napoli and Roma all have twelve points with Juventus just behind them on eleven. Sitting in fifth are Inter Milan on nine points – Juventus have already beaten them earlier in the season. AC Milan had a terrible start result wise losing to Cremonese with home advantage. They absolutely bossed the game, but just couldn’t convert their chances and it was one of those days. I actually think they got their unluckiest result out of the way for the season – they lost 2-1 with an xG of 2.48 compared to conceding just 0.48.
It’s not a surprise that we have a very open betting heat here. Indeed, we could easily have flip-flopping favourites in the build-up to this game. Juventus are the marginal favourites at 2.82 with AC Milan 2.88 and the draw is 3.3 at the time of writing. AC Milan come into this fixture on a high after beating Napoli 2-1 last weekend, but Juventus have had some great results too – they beat Inter Milan here 4-3, and while they would have been disappointed with the 1-1 draw here last weekend against Atalanta, they absolutely bossed that game and finished with an xG of 2.86.
Both clubs have been clearly playing some very good football, and it seems like we’re going to have a very competitive title battle in Italy this season. Whether these two are go the distance with Napoli or Inter Milan is open for debate, but for the time being their bang there. It’s actually hard to fault both sides; Juventus have been better going forward and AC Milan have been better at the back. We generally have a very tight game when these two meet – Under 2.5 goals has collected in four of the last five meetings. I couldn’t put anyone off that bet at 1.88. However, I can’t see past a very close game here and the draw is worth supporting at 3.3.
