ROMA V NAPOLI

7.45pm We have a blockbuster from Europe on Betdaq Betting Exchange this Sunday! All the focus will be on Serie A as Roma host Napoli in a massive game in the title race. Roma wouldn’t have been expected to be in the title race this season – but with everyone dropping points they have been the most consistent and come into the weekend sitting top of the table. It will be fascinating to see how they get on here against the current Champions; a win here might really see the squad and club starting to believe they can stay the course.

Zooming out from a Roma point of view, it’s been a while since they enjoyed Champions League football so even a top four finish would be a massive result for them. However, they can live the dream in the title race for the time being. As you would expect with Roma having home advantage, we have an open betting heat. Roma are the favourites at 2.64 with Napoli 3.3 and the draw is 3.0 at the time of writing.

Napoli have been dropping plenty of points lately; after drawing against Como and losing to Bologna, that win last weekend over Atalanta was very important. It keeps them within touch of the top of the table; they are only two points behind Roma at the moment. All three Napoli losses in Serie A this season have come away from home though, and with Roma playing so well this season they face a very difficult task here. From a Napoli point of view, you wouldn’t be too unhappy with a draw.

There’s very little between the sides on performance levels. They are sitting in third and fourth on attacking figures with only 0.03 between them – Roma have marginally created the more chances. At the back, there’s even less between them – only 0.01 between the sides on defensive figures and again they have both been impressive. They are both in the top five on defensive figures. Everything I see here suggest a very close game, it’s going to be hard to get away from the draw at 3.0 in what should be a very close game.

With both sides being so solid at the back, and you have to say we could get a very cagey game here, Under 2.5 goals is certainly worthy of consideration at 1.59. The market is obviously expecting a reasonably quiet game with that price. Under 2.5 goals has collected in three of the last four meetings between the sides – however I feel the draw jumps off the page here at 3.0. This is the start of a massive two games for Napoli, they meet Juventus next week and as I said above, a draw wouldn’t be a bad result for them here.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Draw at 3.0 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
