SERIE A SATURDAY: The Ultra previews PISA v JUVENTUS with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
PISA V JUVENTUS
7.45pm European football returns after the Christmas break on Betdaq Betting Exchange with Serie A action on Saturday! We have five fixtures to enjoy, but the pick of them is Pisa hosting Juventus in my opinion. Juventus have been playing some excellent football this season but they have really struggled to get over the line in games – mainly due to the fact that they aren’t converting their chances! With Inter Milan, AC Milan, Napoli and Bologna all busy in Saudi Arabia before Christmas, Juventus recorded a massive win over Roma last weekend – against a side in the relegation zone; they have to follow that up here.
Juventus sit in fifth spot coming into this matchday – they are four points behind Inter Milan at the top of the table but they have played one game more. That win over Roma was massive in the race for a Champions League spot, but Juventus are playing at a level where they should be involved in the title race. They have an average xG created of 1.75 which is the second best attacking figure in Serie A this season – only Inter have creating more – and they are also in the top four on defensive figures.
So, what’s the problem for Juventus? They aren’t converting their chances. Their goals scored average is only 1.31 and that’s a massive difference with their chances created – there’s been a lot of points left on the table. With Pisa sitting in the relegation zone, it’s no surprise that Juventus come into the game as the odds on favourites. Juventus are 1.5 with Pisa 8.2 and the draw is 4.6 at the time of writing. There’s aren’t many positives from a Pisa point of view this season – their average xG created is only 1.05 which is the second worst attacking figure in Serie A this season.
Pisa also have the second worst defensive figure too. It’s no surprise that they sit in 19th position! They are still within three points of safety so they have a lot to play for still, but their performance levels paint a grim picture for the rest of the season. I have to say, I felt Juventus would be trading shorter than 1.5 when I clicked into the market. I know they are really struggling to convert their chances this season, but they come up against a very average side here. I feel we’re getting so much value at 1.5 that Juventus are worth a Five Star NAP!
The Ultra Says:
Five points win Juventus to beat Pisa at 1.5 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
