SERIE A THURSDAY: The Ultra previews COMO v AC MILAN with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
COMO V AC MILAN
7.45pm The midweek action continues from Europe on Betdaq Betting Exchange as the focus switches to Serie A on Thursday night. With Inter Milan, Napoli, Bologna and AC Milan all traveling to Saudi Arabia recently for the Italian Super Cup; they now have to catch up on lost fixtures. We have a cracking on Thursday night as Como host AC Milan – undoubtedly the highlight fixture in Serie A in this midweek round of fixtures. Como have been absolutely superb under Cesc Fabregas and they are in with an outside chance of European football which is remarkable.
You could easily make a strong argument that Fabregas has done the best job in Europe this season – to have Como where they are in the table given the size of the club and the resources is just superb. One wonders what top club will come in for him; obviously that’s a huge decision possibly in the summer. AC Milan come into this midweek round of fixtures three points behind Inter Milan, but they face a tough task here. Inter dropped points at the weekend, but they did face Napoli and given their performance levels, you’d expect Inter to build a lead at the top of the table in the coming weeks.
There’s very little between the sides here on paper, and it’s no surprise that we have an open betting heat. AC Milan come into the game as the favourites at 2.6 with Como 3.15 and the draw is 3.25 at the time of writing. There’s only 0.04 between the sides on attacking figures with AC Milan marginally creating more chances. Como have been better at the back though – their average xG conceded is 1.16 compared to AC Milan at 1.24. AC Milan have actually got away with a lot at the back so far this season; sides haven’t been taking their chances against them.
You could say the same about Como – they are roughly conceding about 60% of the chances they should be – but their average xG conceded at 1.16 is still the four best defensive figure in Serie A this season, only behind Inter Milan, Juventus and Napoli so they are in good company. I know we have an open betting heat, but I feel the 2.6 on AC Milan is too short here away from home – I would have the market even more open to be honest! Another option has to be Under 2.5 goals at 1.84 given it’s hard to see anything other than a very tight game but I do feel Como can get a result here with home advantage and I’m happy to lay AC Milan at the odds.
The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) AC Milan to beat Como at 2.6 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE
