COPPA ITALIA WEDNESDAY: The Ultra previews INTER MILAN v TORINO with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

8pm We kick off the Coppa Italia Quarter-Finals on Wednesday night on Betdaq Betting Exchange! We begin with a cracker as Inter Milan host Torino, and we still have some big names heading into this stage – Atalanta, Juventus, Napoli, Como, Bologna and Lazio are all still involved so we should have a cracking finish to the tournament. On paper, this is a game that you’d expect Inter Milan to win with home advantage – Torino are your classic mid-table Italian side. They have the tenth best attacking figure in Serie A – their average xG created is 1.35 compared to Inter at 2.0 so it’s quite obvious the gulf in class between the sides.
Torino are conceding more than they are creating this season – their average xG conceded is 1.5 – again compare that to Inter Milan with the best defensive figure in Serie A with an average xG conceded of just 0.96. The only side with an average xG conceded sub 1.0 this season which is very impressive. They won again at the weekend in Serie A, and they are seemingly heading towards picking up the title. It’s no surprise that they come into the game as the red-hot favourites. Inter are trading 1.3 with Torino 12.0 and the draw is 6.2 at the time of writing.
It’s very difficult to see past a win for Inter here. Obviously there’s no prizes for tipping 1.3 shots, so we’ll have to look around the side markets for some value. That being said, I would happily include Inter in any midweek Acca! These sides met way back here on the opening weekend of the Serie A season, with Inter running out smooth 5-0 winners. Inter have a very good record against Torino – they’ve won the last seven meetings between the sides.
Obviously the goal and handicap markets are good place to start here. Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.75 and the market is also expecting Inter to do most of the work here because Both Teams Not To Score is odds on. That’s trading 1.7, which is effectively an Inter clean sheet in my opinion. I wouldn’t put anyone off that bet given how strong Inter have been at the back, but I do like Inter to cover the handicap here. They’re trading 1.92 -1.5 goals which looks cracking value – I’m happy to have a confident bet at the odds.
