PUNTERS ARE WINNERS ALREADY: BETDAQ backers were the winners at Royal Ascot this morning, with sensational offers producing near-level returns in 101 total percentages for the 2.30 and 4.20 races. The 3.05, 3.40, 5.00 and 5.35 added up to only around 106 each.
THERE’S NO COMPARISON! Compare the above with last year’s SPs of 119, 109, 129, 120, 138 and 127 for those races. Today’s headlines:

OPENING GOAL FOR BALLO
🎩 2.30 Royal Ascot (Queen Anne Stakes): Favourites are 4-6 but four-year-olds 7-9 which leans me to Opera Ballo, winner of the Sandown Mile, despite conceding weight to the third, Zeus Olympios, who had outgunned him in the autumn.
‘Zeus’ was then third in the Lockinge to Opera Ballo’s stablemate, Notable Speech and the Godolphin pair are now level-peggings in the ratings (off 125).
More Thunder, runner-up in the Lockinge, is a Group-2 winner over 7f, having been put to sprinting when he first moved stables to William Haggas.
BETDAQ Betting Exchange 101% including 3.6 Notable Speech, 4.6 Opera Ballo
MRAIR RARE 25.0 OUTSIDER
🎩 3.05 Royal Ascot (Coventry Stakes): Gstaad, who runs in the St James’s Palace Stakes today (4.20), was Aidan O’Brien’s 11th winner of this two-year-old test last season.
The weather will have helped Ryan Moore choose fast-time winner Confucius over soft-surface scorer Great Barrier Reef.
Cut A Dash could live up to his name and James Doyle picks Royal Heritage over Ruler’s Pride in the same ownership.
But easy Lingfield scorer Mrair has that ‘could be anything’ look under Oisin Murphy. Son of Mehmas, who got the Group-1 6f winner Believing. BETDAQ 25.0.
RAYEVKA FOR GRAFFARD
🎩 3.40 Royal Ascot (King Charles III Stakes): LAYS LOGIC: Just one winning favourite of this sprint in 13 seasons, with the trend to older horses (age 5, 6, 7 are six from the last seven) and a double-figure draw (10 to 18 seven from nine).
Aussie raiders have won two of the last four, and their 2024 scorer Asfoora (stall 17 that day; 26 today) is joined by Overpass (out of 19), who got within a couple of lengths of world champion Ka Ying Rising in October but this is a drop back to the minimum (won eight times over 6f since May 2021).
American Affair (18) won this last year (Starlust 4th, not well drawn today; Asfoora 5th).
Francis-Henri Graffard has several ace fillies this year (see Daqman Monday) and Rayevka (stall 15), third in the 6f Commonwealth Cup here last year, can avenge defeat that day by Time For Sandals (gate 9 here), now contesting the minimum trip. Betdaq Betting Exchange 9.5
TALK DOWN THE GUINEAS
🎩 4.20 Royal Ascot (St James’s Palace Stakes): Battle of the Guineas winners? The ratings give Bow Echo (126: Newmarket 2,000) 6lb advantage over Gstaad (120: Curragh 2,000), after their one-two at Newmarket.
But the sub-plot is that Charlie Appleby bypassed both with Talk Of New York (pictured below), watching him grow up this Spring and testing him (in a hood), pace set for a super-fast run at Sandown. Hooded player hoodwinks punters? BETDAQ betting exchange 101% including 6.5 Talk of New York

RYAN MOORE ON A HIGH
🎩 5.00 Royal Ascot (Ascot Stakes): This has gone to mixed-yard trainers, including Willie Mullins (4), Ian Williams (2), Alan King and Henry De Bromhead.
LAYS LOGIC: just one winning favourite in the decade, with SPs at 10-1, 12-1, 14-1, 16-1 and 20-1 (twice). DRAW: single-figure stalls 8-10.
Ryan Moore is looking for recompense on royal runner Reaching High (8), repeatedly hampered in this race last year. BETDAQ 3.4
BIG VALUE ABOUT GALEN
🎩 5.35 Royal Ascot (Wolferton Stakes): LAYS LOGIC: just one outright favourite in 16, and those drawn 5, 6, 7, 8 have won 10 of the last 15.
Galen was beaten only three-parts of a length in this last year, giving 5lb to the winner, Haatem, though Haatem was rated 4lb higher!
They meet on level terms today, and Galen is also better off with last year’s second and third, King’s Gambit and Enfjaar. BETDAQ 13.0 looks big.
Nahraan had Arc winner Daryz and Japanese ace Croix Du Nord just in front of him when he was third at Longchamp in September. BETDAQ 7.5.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….
Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
