SHAMROCK BIDS FOR FOUR NAPS IN-A-ROW: Irish racing resumes at Thurles where Shamrock bids for nap number four in current sequence.
At last we have some Irish racing to look forward to.
It’s a good card at Thurles that features the Grade 2 Matty Ryan Memorial Kinloch Brae Chase at 2.10 and the Fame And Glory & Sans Frontieres Coolmore National Hunt Sires E.B.F. Mares Novice Chase at 2.40 but it’s also a card where in four of the seven races the favourite is odds-on on BETDAQ.
First of the hot shots is Djakadam in the opener who was second on France on debut and looks a likely sort for Mullins / Walsh but given we know so little about him 1.56 looks a little skinny.
For the nap I’ll side with Mullins / Walsh but later in the card with Ballycasey who impressed me when winning at Clonmel and should take this step-up in class in his stride.
