Yeovil and Swindon meet this evening looking to get their promotion bids back on track after both failing to win their past two fixtures. It’s extremely tight at the top of League One as only six points separate the league leaders and sixth place.
Both clubs are in the middle of a tense promotion battle and are level on 63 points apiece. The hosts are on an excellent run of form that has seen them beaten only twice in their last 17 matches. However, Gary Johnson’s outfit have suffered a dip in form over the past few weeks that has seen them win just one of their past five games. It’s not all doom and gloom though as they’ve only been beaten at Colchester during that run.
Johnson will be most disappointed with the way they blew a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Crawley last time out.
Since Paolo Di Canio’s departure Kevin MacDonald has struggled in the hot seat. The new manager has produced only one win in his previous five matches. Much like the Glovers they have drawn plenty of games to suggest another is on the cards here.
Yeovil are unbeaten in ten home games and I fancy them to extend that run with a share of the points tonight. I’d recommend backing the draw at 3.55 on BETDAQ.
