SHAMROCK HEADS TO GOWRAN PARK: Evening action from Gowran Park on Tuesday and SHAMROCK’s NAP runs in the opener at 5.50.

I mentioned the form figures of the Aidan O’Brien trained One True Love (0334422232) yesterday and surely she has to be taken on again tonight.

Whilst she is consistent she is also proving mightily easy to get past in a finish and tonight I prefer the chances of the David Wachman trained Harpist who has only had three starts to date.

The stable had a Group race success at the Curragh over the weekend and can also strike here with Harpist who has run well in all three of her starts – shaping with promise on debut at Leopardstown behind Big Break and then a close second at Dundalk on the Polytrack.

Her best run to date was last time out though at Leopardstown when third to Point Piper over a mile. She was very much still in contention with a furlong to go and the drop back in distance today to seven furlongs should prove ideal. The current BETDAQ price of around 3 is more than tempting for me.

Aidan O’Brien introduces Indian Maharaja to the racecourse in the 6.50. This smartly bred son of Galileo has Group 1 entries but as we saw with Australia over the weekend the stable runners often need the run and at around 2.1 Indian Maharaja is a lay tonight.
