WEDNESDAY AT SLIGO: It’s an all chase card at Sligo on Wednesday (apart from the closing bumper). 8mm of rain overnight has seen the ground change to soft, soft to heavy in places.
The smallest sized field of the day, the 4.35 with five runners, also presents one of the most interesting betting conundrums.
I agree with the BETDAQ market that it’s match up between Toner D’Oudairies and Go All The Way and the overnight rain that has fallen at Sligo should prove no inconvenience to either of them.
The two actually clashed at Killarney in August when Go All The Way finished a well beaten seventh but did better than Toner D’Oudairies who was pulled up.
Toner D’Oudairies has since bounced back with a win at Listowel and the Elliott stable is in good form.
Go All The Way seems to have lost a little confidence since falling at Cheltenham and remains error prone.
A smaller field and less competitive race than last time should help though and I take him to confirm Killarney form with Toner D’Oudairies.
