When I saw that Celtic were three down at Kilmarnock last week, I really did fear the worst. However, the side did brilliantly to rescue a point which was made even important as Rangers slipped up at Ibrox against St Mirren. It’s vital that the Hoops start to close the gap and make that game in hand count.
Aberdeen are up next and Neil Lennon will certainly fancy his chances of getting the three points. The Dons have yet to win at home and have lost four of their five away games thus far. To me, it’s the perfect game for Hoops to regain some confidence and push on up the table.
Some of the defending still worries me though, but Celtic should be strong enough to keep out a struggling Dons attack. Craig Brown has some decent young players at his disposal, but I’m not convinced they’ll have enough to trouble the Hoops – especially at Celtic Park. Anyone brave enough to back an away win can do so on BETDAQ 1BET at around 17/2.
A home win is around 1/5 on BETDAQ 1BET, while for the Hoops to be ahead at the break and final whistle is a little bigger at 4/7.
In terms of a correct score, I like the 3-0 (5/1) as Celtic have already beaten Aberdeen 1-0 on their own patch and they’ll be desperate to put in a big performance in front of their own fans.
