Now the Cheltenham Festival is done and dusted we can the concentrate on Kempton Park where will host the inaugural running of the BETDAQ Silver Cups Day on Saturday, giving horses that missed out on the Cheltenham Festival the chance for a big prize elsewhere.

In total BETDAQ sponsor four races on the seven race card, which gets underway at 2.20 with the BETDAQ The Sports Betting Exchange Novice’s Limited Handicap Chase.

Thirteen horses have been declared for the opening race on the day including recent Leicester winner, Arkaim. Donald McCain saddles two runners with Oscatara and Veloce while Alan King and Nicky Henderson both have horses engaged with Tante Sisi running for King while Henderson has Thanks For Coming.

The first of the two feature races gets underway at 2.55 with the Kempton Park BETDAQ Silver Plate, a Handicap Hurdle over two miles and five furlongs boasting a total prize fund of £35,000.

A total of 20 runners will go to post including Legacy Gold from the David Pipe stable who is seeking a four timer. Pipe also runs Prideofthecastle, Home Run and Bygones Sovereign. Stable jockey, Tom Scudamore rides Legacy Gold. Philip Hobbs and Alan King also have a strong hand in the race with two runners each.

Champion Jockey, Tony McCoy will get the leg up on Another Hero for Jonjo O’Neill. Champion Trainer, Nicky Henderson will run Golden Hoof, ridden by the man of the week, Barry Geraghty while Paul Nicholls, the current leader in the trainer’s table has Empire Levant engaged.

At 3.30, the runners in the Kempton Park BETDAQ Silver Bowl, a Handicap Chase over two and a half miles, will face the starter with a guaranteed prize fund of £40,000 and the Irish trained, Nearest The Pin heads the weights in the 13 runner contest.

Nicky Henderson and Barry Geraghty again team up with Top Of The Range for Dai Walters and Tony McCoy rides Lost Legend for Jonjo O’Neill. The very consistent performer, The Romford Pele takes his chance for Rebecca Curtis who won the RSA Chase on Wednesday with O’Faoilains Boy and Patrick Corbett takes the ride.

The final BETDAQ sponsored race is scheduled for 5.15, the penultimate race on the card, the BETDAQ £25 No Lose Mobile Bet Handicap Chase over three miles.

There are seven horses declared for this Chase with Campbonnais, formerly trained by John Hanlon in Ireland, heading the weights. Whispering Jack, Billy Dutton, Venetian Lad, Badgers Cove, Midnight Macarena and Mis Aubin make up the field.
