HAYLEY TURNER: A big thank you to everyone who sent their congratulations to me for receiving an OBE. I am honestly flattered to have the recognition. I hope my achievements encourage more girls to get involved in the racing industry.

HAYLEY TURNER: The Big one has arrived! I’m going to Epsom on both days as I’m an Investec Derby ambassador which is a great role to have. Investec have invited me to both days racing with a lunch and they’ve kindly let me bring to guests so I have my sister and housemate joining me.

HAYLEY TURNER: It’s the calm before the storm with the Derby and Oaks next weekend. Its been talked about by everyone so I thought I would save that till next week.

HAYLEY TURNER: Looks ahead to an action packed Guineas weekend at the Curragh with some recommended bets there and at Goodwood too.

HAYLEY TURNER: Can you believe the Guineas are on this weekend? How fast did that come around! For the jockeys this meeting is when the season really gets underway, they will now all be flat out now until September at the earliest.

HAYLEY TURNER: I’m old before my time! I came to this conclusion yesterday when I spent my day in the garden and finished it off watching the Snooker. This is not the normal behavior of a 33 year old surely?

LOOKING FOR A NATIONAL WINNER: The April showers have been hitting us hard over the last few days. Sunshine, rain, thunderstorms, sunshine, rain, we’ve had the lot.

HAYLEY TURNER: I’m taking on a Marathon of my own tomorrow, not the sort of you’re thinking of however! My Marathon starts when Aintree kicks off at 1.45pm with a friend who is doing lunch so I’m heading round there with a few mates to watch the racing together.

HAYLEY TURNER: I got back in the saddle for the first time since November earlier this week and now, I can hardly walk! My legs are killing me. I waited for Storm Katie to go and for the temperature to be well above freezing until I made an appearance on the Heath.
