CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WEDNESDAY: We preview Wednesday’s Champions League action with the games between FC PORTO V ROMA and PSG V MANCHESTER UNITED both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

FC PORTO V ROMA

8pm This tie is set up perfectly after Roma won the first leg 2-1. A home side winning the first leg 2-1 really always makes the second leg fascinating with things so finely poised. The big question tonight is how will Roma perform away from home? Apart from winning against a ten man CSKA Moscow side, Roma have little to show for away from home in the Champions League this season; while Porto have won all three home games. Both sides lost at the weekend, with Porto losing to rivals Benfica and Roma losing 3-0 to Lazio.

The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; FC Porto 2.06, Roma 3.9 and the draw is 3.8. We can’t get away from Roma’s stats away from home looking at this fixture – they’ve only won four of their last 13 away from home and their record on the road in the Champions League is poor too. Porto have been impressive in front of their own fans and looking at the first leg, we fancy Porto to get the job done here and progress to the next round too. We feel the home side should be odds on and we’re happy to back them at 2.06.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
FC Porto to beat Roma at 2.06.

PSG V MANCHESTER UNITED

8pm It’s fair to say that Manchester United were absolutely played off the park in the first leg and while they did enjoy some good spells, they were probably lucky it only finished 2-0 to PSG. They now have it all to do in Paris, although Solksjaer only knows one way to play and that’s to attack – and that is what they need to do tonight! They are suffering with injuries; however this should be a very enjoyable game to watch given the situation.

PSG are heavy odds on favourites with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; PSG 1.51, Manchester United 7.0 and the draw is 4.9. In the ‘To Qualify’ market, it looks like the decision is already in with PSG trading as short as 1.04! The problem for United here is they will more than likely concede at some stage and that should put the tie to bed; although we expect them to give a good account of themselves. It is very surprising to see over 2.5 goals trading as big as 1.7 given how attacking United will be here under Solksjaer and that will suit PSG to counter with speed too. We can only see goals here and over 2.5 looks massive at the odds.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 1.7.
