50% EXTRA BETDAQ VALUE GIFTED TO PUNTERS: Who is the gifted master of tipping? Daqman, of course, as he showed yet again at Newmarket yesterday. But Daqman prefers to point up not his own prowess but sensational BETDAQ value (‘on a daily basis,’ he says). His big handicap winner at 8-1 paid half as much again at the morning BETDAQ offers!

WON 8-1 GIFTED MASTER (at 13.5 on BETDAQ)
WON 10-11 WUHEIDA (supernap) both Newmarket

DAQMAN WAITING ON CLASSIC TRIALS WEEK: Today Daqman revises his Fortune Cookies horses to follow but is not yet convinced of the topsy-turvey three-year-old form that can produce a 66-1 Classic winner. Tomorrow he checks out the trials to come at Chester, Lingfield and York.

FORTUNE COOKIES GETTING HOT

The girls can’t help it. As I warned at the start of the season, the first sun on their backs sees some fillies take a big leap forward, like Billesden Brook yesterday.

I prefer to wait and hope to find an Enable in the Chester, Lingfield (both this week) and York (next week) trials, which I shall preview tomorrow.

Meanwhile, this updated Fortune Cookies list relies on your reading the first presentation in this column. Go to the Daqman logo.

CRACKSMAN We tipped Cracksman for the Ganay in this column and he duly won it four lengths, despite the drying ground at ParisLongchamp.

ENABLE Enable was launched in this week’s Cheshire Oaks.

KINAESTHESIA Ralph Beckett goes into today with form figures of 1111. He invariably has a decent filly in the early summer and this daughter of Sea The Stars is related to an Oaks-trial winner. Look out for her this week.

MAGIC CIRCLE Don’t forget that this one has moved from Ralph Beckett to Ian Williams with this week’s Chester Cup as the target. His owner now? None other than Mr Chester himself, Dr Marwan Koukash.

MAYBRIDE Black-type quest now after storming clear in the opener on Craven Stakes day.

MENDELSSOHN Last in the Kentucky Derby is a stigma sure to be removed. The UAE Derby winner was knocked this way and that at the start at Churchill Downs, and consolation is that he’ll be a better price than he should be next time out. See Shamrock on Sunday.

ROARING LION See the Daqman column on Sunday.

SAXON WARRIOR See the Daqman column on Sunday.

SHARJA BRIDGE The ‘moral’ at Newmarket, just beaten, giving weight to the winner.

VERACIOUS No plans after a setback

WITHOUT PAROLE No plans after a setback

ZARKAMIYA Smartest Frankel of the year so far.

RACE TO FOLLOW: Remember my telling you that, in recent years, the Wood Ditton has looked hot again, full of winners in their next two starts.

But so far just a couple of placed efforts from among Rock Force, Cogital, Prabeni, King Lud, Miltary Band and Surya.

EMPLOYER TO LAND BANK HOLIDAY WAGES

Just the eight meetings on Bank Holiday Monday across the UK and Ireland but one important factor to remember. Layers have to price every race up, backers can be much more selective.

The temperatures are set to soar on Monday, so even at the tracks where there is still some juice left in the ground this is likely to evaporate quickly on that rarest of days – a sunny Bank Holiday !

Flat and jumps fans are well catered for but I’ll stick with three bets on the flat on Monday and bundle them up in a DAQ MULTIPLES perm too.

2.15 Bath The field sizes have held up pretty well at a track which can suffer from small fields when it rides fast.

In the opener, there are a couple of interesting debutants – including a couple from Richard Hannon’s yard and after yesterday I oppose with considerable trepidation but I think Karalini will show the benefit of her experience.

The Mick Channon trained filly is clearly highly thought of as she was sent off the 11/10 favourite for her debut at Windsor two weeks ago but could only finish third. It was a useful debut though and she is preferred to Beverley fourth Signora Cabello who made up ground after a slow start on her debut but she may need a longer trip to show her best form and things can happen pretty quickly here at Bath.

4.15 Beverley Detachment gave warning he is well handicapped at present with a good course and distance second last time out to Rita’s Man and whilst he is up 2lb for that defeat, apprentice Jane Elliott takes off a handy 5lb today. She has ridden two winners, a second and a third from her last ten rides so it’s looking like a very valuable 5lb claim.

X-Rated is very well named – for his backers at least. An expensive horse to follow and more often than not finds one too good. Mark Johnston has him out again quickly having finished runner-up on the all-weather at Lingfield on Thursday.

4.55 Windsor Employer shaped with plenty of promise on debut at Kempton when third to Qaysar and given the winner has gone on to win his next two races and the runner-up Crack On Crack On also won next time out – the form looks rock solid.

Employer’s trainer Hugo Palmer is just as hot as the weather at present. Five winners and six winners from his last 21 runners.

Sir Michael Stoute has also started the season well and whilst Red Striker will surely improve on his Chelmsford debut he will certainly need to as it was a pretty modest effort.

Kaiser has to give weight away to the majority of the field and may struggle in doing so whilst Zamandas was beaten a long way at Yarmouth on his seasonal reappearance.

I’m struggling for dangers, so even more reason to put the nap blob against Employer.
