LOOKS GOOD: NAP AFTER NAP Daqman followed up his Saturday banker, Adrien Du Pont (banker, WON 11-8), with another winning nap yesterday, the five-lengths Southwell scorer Jacob’s Pillow (Won 1-1). Today’s hat-trick bid is at Wolverhampton.

LOOKS BACK: 2015 REVIEW Adrien Du Pont was a Daqman winner over Pricewise in their epic value battle. Pricewise leads 4-3 in 2016 (he’s had four wins from 16 bets to our man’s three from 13). But the full state of the parties for this season is revealed in a review of 2015 today.

LOOKS AHEAD: 2016 PREVIEW Tomorrow, as Pricewise starts a week of ante-post bets at the Cheltenham Festival, Daqman updates his stats for the big races and reveals why you should hold your horses.

9 LAYS IN A ROW (July)
8 LAYS IN A ROW (November)
13 LAYS IN A ROW (December)

BEST DAY’S RACING WAS A BETDAQ DAY

BETDAQ HOLDS THE KEY TO VALUE

Betdaq holds the key to value. He goes into a new week two naps out of two but is particularly proud of being 258 points up in the NH season (since November 6) over Pricewise, assessing their selections 20 points win at SP.

Says our man: ‘BETDAQ holds the key to value. I’ll explain more about that in the coming weeks.’ Here are the tallies:

NH season: Daqman 20, Pricewise 8
Profit and loss: Daqman 163 points up, Pricewise 95 down
Overall scores: Daqman 266, Pricewise 104

This week Pricewise will be looking at ante-post bets for the big meeting at Cheltenham. Daqman checks out his own successful ante-post record, and warns of the pitfalls and where the profits can be had.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY? YOU GOTTA BELIEVE IT!

12.45 Wolverhampton It is significant that birthday-boy Richard Hughes (43 today) has trained two winners from six starters in the New Year with the only ones to have been favourite at the off.

Believe It was the market leader when he won over today’s CD in December and he’s likely to be hot again today, getting 13lb from all bar three of the runners.

2.55 Wolverhampton There was money with the bookies this morning for Rosecomb, dropped in class and hooded for the first time.

Trainer Michael Bell has a 100% place strike-rate (three winners, three others in the frame, out of six) and Rosecomb is thrown into this handicap. Still 5.7 available on BETDAQ to fair liquidity when I last looked.

4.10 Kempton Andrew Balding seems to have found the answer to Royal Normandy, Instead of lighting him up, blinkers first time over today’s CD helped him settle off the pace instead of employing his usual front-running tactics.

DAQMAN’S BETS (staked 1 to 9; a banker would be 10)
BET 8pts win (nap) BELIEVE IT (12.45 Wolverhampton)
BET 5pts win ROSECOMB (2.55 Wolverhampton)
BET 4pts win ROYAL NORMANDY (4.10 Kempton)
