BANK HOLIDAY TREBLE: Daqman starts the week with selections from Bath, Warwick and Fakenham – wrapping them all up in a Bank Holiday Monday treble on Betdaq.

CHESTER NEXT STOP: The racing trials roadshow moves on to Chester this week with the highlights on the opening day on Wednesday being the Cheshire Oaks and the Chester Vase. Daqman will be marking your card.

ANGEL DELIGHT

⭕ 2.50 Bath With form figures of 21212 Fidelius is the obvious starting point. If that sequence is to continue with another win he’ll need to do it off a career high mark and this class 3 is much tougher than the class 4 he was beaten a nose in at Southwell last month.

I prefer the class dropper Angel Shared who ran a cracker here last time out to finish fifth in a Listed race. That was by far her best recent effort and a reproduction of that effort should be good enough here.

The six runners are hard to separate in a competitive market with main danger likely to come from Regal Envoy whose Newmarket third last month in another class 3 event reads pretty well.

THE WILD GOOSE CHASE

⭕ 5.00 Warwick Wild Goose really got his act together when winning (going away) at Hereford last time out and might well be capable of defying the resulting 7lb hike in the weights. Aamilah Aswat who rode last time is onboard again taking off a handy 10lb.

Wondering Why was impressive when winning at Lingfield but inexplicably disappointing when sent off favourite over course last time out which no doubt left punters wondering why and is probably best watched here.

HARLEY TO SPEED HOME

⭕ 5.48 Fakenham Harley’s Pride showed improved form when stepped up in trip to win well at Doncaster last time out and looks the answer to this on what is her first start for the Nick Scholfield yard.

She’s up 6lb in the handicap but scored with plenty in hand at Doncaster and is unexposed at this trip.

The obvious danger is Betdaq Betting Exchange market rival Dartmouth Rose who is chasing a hat-trick after wins at Southwell and over course and distance last month. It didn’t look the strongest race here last time with just four runners and the second favourite disappointing and Dartmouth Rose will find this harder off her 4lb higher mark.

Crackerjack Queen is unproven over this trip – her main selling point is that her stable are going well but she will need to do better than her 30 length third here last time out when not showing obvious signs of wanting a longer test.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
