DAQMAN POLICY: WINNERS! Daqman landed two winners from four bets in three races yesterday, with his nap a gamble at Leopardstown (odds against on BETDAQ) but his Doncaster winner easy to back.

WON 4-9 HONESTY POLICY nap (2.6 taken on BETDAQ)
WON 4-1 HORSESOMEHARRY

DAY-BY-DAY FESTIVAL FOCUS: Cheltenham uncovered. Who wins what and at what price? Which outsiders can you back and which favourites can you lay? Daqman explores the stats and facts every day of the big meeting one week in advance. Arm yourself for Cheltenham, starting tomorrow with Tuesday’s guide and Lays Logic.

BRIGHTERDAYSAHEAD: The Champion Hurdle features in Daqman’s preview tomorrow and the huge news on Monday was that Gordon Elliott’s Brighterdaysahead has been given the green light to take on reigning champion Constitution Hill.

GOOD NOTES ON CARMEN

⭕ 5.15 Southwell: Eric Carmen is hardly a prolific winner but neither are his rivals.

I do think he looks well handicapped here on his return to hurdles after a spell chasing which ended with a win at Bangor last week. He made all to win here last year over hurdles off a similar mark and whilst that was over 2m 4f he seems equally as adept over the shorter trips too.

I’m struggling to find a danger (which always a good thing when you are considering a bet!)

The mare Rhiannon Ring ran her best race yet when third at Catterick in January and whilst the form looks average she doesn’t have many miles on the clock and could still improve.

Je Viens Du Large won a point by 56 lengths but so far hasn’t transferred that form to hurdles. The headgear goes on for the first time today but I’d rather wait and see if that sparks an improvement.

A ROGUE NAP!

⭕ 7.00 Wolverhampton: Rarely a meeting at Wolverhampton goes by without a winner for Billy Loughnane who has strong chances of a double tonight from just two rides.

Rogue Thunder is a class dropper who has been running well (without success) in handicaps and this drop in grade should allow him to record his first course and distance win of the year.

He is preferred to main Betdaq Betting Exchange rivals Kapparis Kid (narrow Southwell winner) and Lynwood Lad who was a 66/1 third last time out but needs to find more and the Moore stable (3 from last 30) are still not firing on all cylinders.

BILLY THE KID AGAIN

⭕ 8.30 Wolverhampton: Loughnane can strike again with Beaumadier who is a career 1-18 but it’s slightly misleading stat as his last start was also his first for the Loughnane stable.

He ran a big race at Lingfield to chase home Coolagh Magic in what looked an improved run – despite a pre-race market drift.

From a good draw in 3 he should be good enough to see off Nelson Gay and Buraback who both look in need of help from the handicapper.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
