DAQMAN OPPOSES FAVOURITES WITH BETS INCLUDING 13.0: Daqman has searched out favourites to oppose today at the three remaining remaining meetings at Bangor, Fontwell and Chelmsford, pitting against them bets at 5.3, 5.5 and 13.0. Catterick North Yorkshire National day has been abandoned.

BETDAQ BETTING AS 27 ARE LEFT IN THE CHAMPION HURDLE: The Champion Hurdle acceptors – 27 of them – prompts Daqman to take an early look at the BETDAQ ante-post market and review he form of the top seven likely contenders. Headlines:

🔹 CHAMPION HURDLE’S LUCKY SEVEN
🔹 LOOKING FOR A NATIONAL PLACE
🔹 REX PREFERS TO TAKE RIDE ON RED
🔹 FLIGHT VALUE BACK OVER HURDLES
🔹 13.0 DISTILLED DOWN THE RATINGS

CHAMPION HURDLE’S LUCKY SEVEN

⭕ 3.30 Champion Hurdle (Cheltenham, March 16) There are 27 left in the Champion Hurdle but 10 of the last 11 winners were in the price range at SP of the top five quoted acceptors for this year’s race. Odds on the left are BETDAQ Sportsbook for the leading seven.

2.5 EPATANTE (Nicky Henderson) Last year’s winner surprisingly beaten by Silver Streak in the Christmas Hurdle at Kempton after taking the Fighting Fifth at Newcastle.

7.0 HONEYSUCKLE (Henry De Bromhead) Unbeaten in nine starts, including the Hattons Grace (twice), Leopardstown Champion Hurdle and Mares Hurdle at Cheltenham in March.

9.0 SAINT ROI (Willie Mullins) The County Hurdle winner at Cheltenham in March stepped up to Graded level with a win at Tipperary but was beaten by Abacadabras in the Morgiana Hurdle before finishing only fourth behind Sharjah at Leopardstown late last month.

9.0 SHARJAH (Willie Mullins) Runner-up to Epatante last year was well beaten in two starts during the summer but bounced back after Christmas at Leopardstown, beating Saint Roi (fourth) and Abacadabras (fifth).

11.0 SILVER STREAK (Evan Williams) Three times beaten in Epatante’s Grade-1 races (second, sixth, carried out) but got his revenge by more than six lengths in the Christmas Hurdle.

13.0 ABACADABRAS (Gordon Elliott) The Leopardstown Future Champion of 2019 beat Saint Roi a neck in the Morgiana in November then (tongue-tied) flopped behind Sharjah at Leopardstown but scoped badly after the race.

13.0 SONG FOR SOMEONE (Tom Symonds) Gradually rose through the grades last year, culminating in nosing out Silver Streak, giving him 2lb, in the International Hurdle at Cheltenham.

LOOKING FOR A NATIONAL PLACE

Catterick abandoned. The loss of the North Yorkshire Grand National at Catterick today leaves connections of Le Breuil looking for a way into the Grand National proper.

Though third and seventh in successive Becher Chases, his mark of 140 will surely fall short of getting a place in the Saturday, April 10, line-up at Aintree.

Bourton trainer Ben Pauling has had four winners in January so far, but all of them over hurdles. He’s had just four chase successes all season.

REX PREFERS TO TAKE RIDE ON RED

⭕ 2.30 Fontwell I’m opposing Cristal Spirit, whose hat-trick bid requires him to carry 12lb more than when scoring here in class 5 in December. This is class 4.

Lily The Pink has been running well over further since scoring at Exeter. She’s had a break after missing out by only a length in a big field at Lingfield in October then trying a trip too far at Market Rasen.

But her winning jockey, Rex Dingle, prefers Certainly Red, whose best run was around this trip at Kempton at this time of year.

Certainly Red was 5.5 this morning on the BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE

FLIGHT VALUE BACK OVER HURDLES

⭕ 2.50 Bangor I can’t get excited about Crypto, a beaten favourite twice – once at odds on – since winning a bumper on good to soft ground.

The ground is so bad today we have lost four horses in this one since I started typing!

Big Bresil has won in the mud at Exeter but Flight Deck took a better race at Newbury, the runner-up following on with a 26-lengths strike.

Flight Deck didn’t take to fences last time and is a decent bet at 5.3 on BETDAQ this morning, reverting to hurdles.

13.0 DISTILLED DOWN THE RATINGS

⭕ 7.00 Chelmsford The overnight plunge horse on the card was Triple Distilled (22-1 to 15-2 with bookmakers), offered this morning at 13.0 on BETDAQ.

Triple Distilled has slipped 12lb down the handicap and moved stables since back-to-back turf wins at York in 2019.

The favourite, Brunel Charm, is one to oppose, having won only his maiden back in December 2018, always a bad sign.

DAQMAN’S BETS

2.30 Fontwell (won 20)
BET 4.4pts win CERTAINLY RED

2.50 Bangor (win 20)
BET 8pts win (nap) FLIGHT DECK

7.00 Chelmsford (win 20)
BET 1.65pts win TRIPLE DISTILLED

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
