DON’T MISS KING-OF-THE-TIPSTERS DAQMAN TOMORROW: As Irish racing continues tomorrow with a new fixture list, we crown the champions of the curtailed English NH season: owners, trainers, jockeys and our own Daqman as top tipster. He ended the English season with Playa Blanca (WON 5-4) on Tuesday. But Daqman plays on with the Irish racing. No blanca for him but first-rate coverage as usual. Follow BETDAQ for better racing coverage.

NINE DAYS OF RACING ARE PLANNED AND NO BLANK DAYS: The Lincoln Handicap and the National lost? Not on your betting life! Irish versions are both on the cards in the next nine days – no blank days – as the Irish menu (below) reveals. Headlines:

🔹 CHAMPIONS WITH NOWHERE TO GO

CHAMPIONS WITH NOWHERE TO GO

⚠️ HEADS UP Call in the fat lady now. The English Jumps season is all over, according to the rules, which have trainers and jockeys titles running from 4 May last year to April 25.

English NH and Flat are both cancelled ‘until at least the end of April’ (quote unquote), but an official ruling is awaited on the title awards.

Trainers from outside Ireland are not permitted to enter for the new programme of fixtures there (see below).

BETDAQ has no doubt who is tipping champion. Daqman has swept the board, slamming the Racing Post value column with double his winning returns taking him a colossal 514 points clear. Here are the English champions as we see them:

Owners J P McMANUS top for winners (54) and top for prizemoney won, £1,562,340.

Trainers (numerically) DAN SKELTON 119, Nicky Henderson 118, Paul Nicholls 96. On winnings, Henderson £1,864,772, Nicholls £1,501,509, Nigel Twiston-Davies £868,098, Willie Mullins £856,319, Skelton £845,448

Jockeys BRIAN HUGHES 141, Richard Johnson 122, Sam Twiston-Davies 99, Harry Skelton 97

Tipsters DAQMAN with 123.78 profit on all daily naps (45% strike rate) and a 39-19 defeat of Pricewise (+378 to -136). Full details tomorrow.

BIG-RACE FEAST ON IRISH MENU

⚠️ HEADS UP Business as usual. BETDAQ Exchange and Sportsbook will be geared up for the revised Irish racing programme, starting tomorrow.

Daqman and Shamrock are back with their top tips, with Daqman analysing in particular the big races at Thurles on Saturday, Downpatrick (the Ulster National) on Sunday and next week’s Flat-season launch at Naas and The Curragh, with the Irish Lincolnshire Handicap.

The plans is for NO BLANK DAYS of racing in Ireland from tomorrow until March 29. These are the revised fixtures at time of going to press:

Saturday THURLES card will include the first big race under the new system, the Pierce Molony Memorial (3.55). This novice chase is Grade-3 status and worth 32,450 euros to the winner.

Sunday DOWNPATRICK completes a quality weekend with the Ulster National (3.25), a 3m 4f plus marathon.

Monday NAAS Two meetings a day are not permitted so the opening of the Irish Flat season moves forward from Sunday to Monday.

Tuesday To be arranged

Wednesday DUNDALK moves back from Friday night to Wednesday afternoon

Thursday To be arranged

Friday NAVAN now brought forward a day

Saturday, March 28 THE CURRAGH, usually a Sunday fixture, reopens on Saturday with the Irish Lincolnshire.
