7-1 ANOTHER DAQMAN NATIONAL AT 13.0 BIG BETDAQ VALUE: Number 13 on the card at 13.0 on BETDAQ but ‘get lucky’ urged Daqman for his win-50 bull’s-eye bet on the Lincolnshire National yesterday in a complete analysis of the field which gave you the one-two at the top of the list!

WON 7-1 WHO’S IN THE BOX (from 13.0 on BETDAQ)
 2ND 7-4 CYCLOP for a same-race one-two

WON 2-1 TALKING ABOUT YOU (nap)

STILL TALKING ABOUT 18-1 AND 11-1 HITS OVER PRICEWISE: He also landed a daring nap yesterday with Talking About You. Lucky day for Pricewise, too, in that these winners do not count in Daqman’s sensational Christmas-long-weekend domination of the Racing Post value tipster, in which Daqman had 18-1, 11-1 and 11-2 winners and took a 17-11 lead (winners are listed below to 10-point level stakes).

FINAL FLING: DAQMAN keeps the stakes low on New Year’s Eve but one winner will generate a profit on his staking plan.

VALUE HUNT IN 1,000-POINT PROFIT

🎉 HAPPY OLD YEAR! The Daqman v Pricewise challenge is the headline of 2020 on New Year’s Eve after their Christmas crackers took profits past the 1,000-point mark for the NH season, even though it only started on November 8.

That’s how much you would have won from 10 points on each selection by each tipster. Here are some of the winners. Next stop Sandown and Ayr on Saturday to resume hostilities.

FULL MOON ON NEW YEAR’S EVE

⭕ 12.50 Warwick Both Warwick and Punchestown passed their respective inspections this morning so we end 2020 with four meetings and hopefully a winning nap with Hunny Moon.

Fergal O’Brien has been in decent form with his recent runners and the mare Hunny Moon can make up for being a beaten favourite on heavy ground at Leicester last time out.

She’s entitled to improve after her hurdling debut and should hopefully find the slightly less testing ground advantageous too – it was soft when she won a bumper on debut at Stratford.

In-between those two starts she also ran well at Aintree and this doesn’t look the toughest of contests today.

I think Bourbon Beauty is vulnerable under her penalty for a short head win at Kelso where she had a tough battle only 25 days ago.

BE MY GUEST

⭕ 1.00 Lingfield A tightly knit handicap in which the fine margins could revolve around Protected Guest who looks a decent price on the BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

He was only pipped a short head over course and distance last week and races off the same mark today – but is set to go up 2lb next week. He also lost shoe last week so I think we are in the realms of a ‘winner without a penalty’ here… at least a ‘moral’ winner.

He’s reasonably consistent, so hopefully just needs to run his race to see off the challenges of Furzig (Laura Pearson an interesting booking), The Trader (yet to win on all-weather) and Oslo (didn’t convince over this trip at Wolverhampton two starts ago).

READ HALL ABOUT IT

⭕ 2.50 Newcastle a Ladbrokes-sponsored nursery over seven furlongs and I’m not over-keen on market leader Global Vision who doesn’t look a world beater and will need to improve for the first time cheekpieces.

Patsy Fagan tries this trip for the first time and although consistent I’m worried about the form of the Fahey yard (1 winner from last 28).

Fircombe Hall’s form is pretty well exposed but he is consistent enough and just about ticks enough boxes here. He’s another who has first time cheekpieces but proved he could stay the seven with a decent effort at Chelmsford in November.

DAQMAN’S BETS (all staked to win 10 points):
BET 7.9pts win (nap) HUNNY MOON (12.50 Warwick)
BET 1.8pts win PROTECTED GUEST (1.00 Lingfield)
BET 1.9pts win FIRCOMBE HALL (2.50 Newcastle)

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
