SUPERNAP IS A FORTUNE COOKIE: Daqman spotted the standout at Kempton yesterday and introduces the same horse to his Fortune Cookies for a follow up next month. Mount Athos won with ease at Kempton.

RETURN OF FORTUNE COOKIES

TASTE THE BETDAQ VALUE!

⭕ 3.20 Hexham The Racing Post form guide describes Aire Valley Lad as inconsistent, as suggested by his figures of 0021020 since the autumn.

But, if you reduce his entire-career returns to 3m on soft ground, you get: 23212.

Today Sue Smith’s nine-year-old gets 20lb from top weight and favourite, Twoshotsoftequila, who is duelling with Taste The Fear, a pound below him.

They were one-three at Doncaster 27 days ago, with Dr Richard Newland’s Taste The Fear better off now.

Dr Newland has struck one of his purple patches with four winners and six others placed with his last 20 starters, and Sue Smith was back to form with success on Tuesday.

Betdaq Betting Exchange 6.6 Taste The Fear, 8.8 Aire Valley Lad

SKELTONS LAC FOR NOTHING

⭕ 3.35 Warwick Such was their enthusiasm that the Skeltons persuaded me to enter Lac De Constance in the Fortune Cookies list at one stage.

The Martaline grey had landed four in a row (three hurdles, one chase) when made favourite for the prestigious Wayward Lad Novices’ Chase at Kempton over Christmas.

He blundered away his chances, and was raised in trip, but still targeted Graded company, at the Sandown Imperial Cup meeting.

Today looks a better idea to get him back on track, dropped down to class 3 in his first all-aged handicap, for which he’s been dropped a few pounds and is tongue-tied first time.

Saint Segal tried his first senior handicap the last day after a novice-chase double at Hereford and Doncaster and wasn’t beaten far. He was favourite for all three races, so no shortage of stable confidence there then. Must be the saver.

Hasankey landed a hat-trick in the mud in the early months of last year but hasn’t been in the same form on better going this time around.

Grandeur d’Ame is raised in class to bid for his hat-trick but will enjoy the left-handed track and gets 11lb from the morning favourite, Saint Segal.

BETDAQ value 7.2 Lac De Constance

RISK LAYING THE FAVOURITE

⭕ 5.00 Taunton LAYS LOGIC I’m taking on the favourite, Johnnywho, a 3m Points winner, absent 515 days, and whose relatives were winners between 2m 5f and 3m 5f.

This 2m is much more suitable for I Am No Risk (BETDAQ offers of 10.5), Olly Murphy’s son of a dual Group-3 winner on the Flat.

Though Murphy has a local meeting at Warwick, he is down to Taunton risking a fight with Paul Nicholls, who saddles Pentire Head (at around 4.7), related to bumper winners, by Presenting out of a Bob Back mare. Looked the part at Exeter in January.

But Murphy clearly is one of tomorrow’s champions, placing his runners with a mighty sequence of 24 placed (still standing) up to yesterday, 10 of them winners.

⭕ 7.30 Wolverhampton The money was down on Climate Precedent at Southwell, first run for Michael Bell, but he ran too freely. Dropped back to a mile, that may well be the tactic today.

This is Bell’s stomping ground, with more than 100 winners at Wolver and Oisin Murphy rides again to make amends in a race Bell has won twice (2-2). BETDAQ value 4.4

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
